Hi all my first post... I have no clue what I am doing & sure your sick of this type of post..... I have been reading the fourm but thought this is question is specific to me & my game
I will be setting up a home game tournament style $50 buy-in. No idea on chip structure. 8 - 10 players never more...i may also do cash games. Below is the chip demonstrations I am thinking... Not sure if I should even get $5000 - $10000
Any advice is welcome

Possible 1000 pc Set
150 white $1 chips
200 red $5 chips
200 blue $10 chips
200 green $25 chips
100 black $100 chips
50 purple $500 chips
50 yellow $1000 chips
50 pink $5000chips

Welcome! Your question is not as specific as you might think, this comes up an awful lot. Its rare to use that many different denominations especially if you'll only ever have a single table tournament (STT). Search for breakdowns specifically for single table tournaments, you'll get a lot more efficient uses.

@Machine Broke it down here with help from others, look at the breakdown/denomination section for tournaments. Read the rest while you're at it too.
