Just back from vacation. Lot's of beer and over-thinking this situation. I feel like I didn't phrase this the right way but it is what it is and I'm not going to try to remedy that. Surprised at the discourse it started but sounds like something we've all experienced in one way or another!

I love this game and all the variations of how it is played! Differing strategies have pros/cons and they're all welcome by me. I greatly appreciate all your feedback and guidance. I was definitely not going to handle things the right way so glad I turned to you guys.

My plan after more reflection is to have a conversation with him and just make sure he knows that the other side of this game is the social comradery aspect... which is the only reason I host poker game to begin with.
