Sands fans, @timinater made us bounty labels. The question now is what blank to put them on?

I'm thinking 43mm Greek mold (Justin, I assume that would not incur any additional fees?). I think I'd like a dark grey/silver with black spots, like B5.




Justin, is it possible to get a plain grey chip, or modify the colors of an existing blank, without getting a designer involved?

For example, could I get an AR2, but as a grey chip with black spots?


Any other Sands Black label fans out there have any thoughts? Another option (probably the easiest) might be to use the Sands $10,000 chip?

I'm planning to go with @Colquhoun 's design for the Mirage chips – it's great. But the original 1996 issue has a larger inlay that I think looks better than the Tina samples. Can the Tina chips also be made with a larger inlay or is this standardized?

The label must be that size. There's a recess in the web mold blanks that is 24mm, so the label must be small enough to fit in that.

You could go for a standard non-hybrid chip like plain. Print the ‚logo‘ as big as you want.
Or the 43 mm web mold got a slightly bigger inlay too (28.3 mm)

I’m ordering a set of Sunset Beach tournament if one or more people split the label fee. I’ll probably order either way because they look awesome, but hoping someone else comes along as well

The no-molds are completely flat chips, with no mold and no recess for a label. With that, you can print anything you like on the face. My original Mirage chips used a "faux mold" which looks like a mold but is actually just printed to look that way. Here's an updated version, making it look like an inlay is overlapping the "faux" recess in the center:

However, I think hybrids are better chips...in sound, feel, and spinners are not an issue.

Thanks @Colquhoun for the design, it looks fantastic. However, I think I will stick with your design for the hybrids. And I agree with what you said on sound and feel. Ideally I would liked for CPC to produce my Mirage chip set, but since they won't I think the hybrids are a good backup option.
