Got the idea responding to another thread just now. What are your chipping and poker bucket list items? It can be anything from finally filling out that rack that you've been filling out a chip at a time, making that grail set playable. Hopefully this doesn't turn into another derail thread and can be a place where we can share our chipping hopes and dreams and maybe help each other out.

For me though, my goals and bucket lists are a bit different. My long term bucket list items mostly have to do with traveling and meeting other PCF'ers and attending their meetups and home games (if they'll have me!), as I'm mostly set on chips and sets.

Or am I?

I'll kick it off, in no particular order:

1. Attend home games hosted by @ChaosRock , @horseshoez , @MrCatPants , and @Josh Kifer . All for distinctly different reasons.

2. Sit at the big boy pink chip limit table at PHL at @MegaTon44 's meetup. Corollary bucket list item, sit at the pot limit $1/$1 "big boy table" one year. Will have to save up a bit to play right there, though.

3. Head or assist with a card group buy that has bridge jumbo indexes and pips with the old Cartamundi Belgium artwork on good card stock.

4. If it ever happens again, stop myself from being a nit and purchase a leaded Paulson cash set directly from @TheChipRoom

5. Attend a Degen in Dallas

6. Attend a European based meetup

Many, many more I'm not thinking of at the moment. I'll edit or post more later!

Imagine playing with MrCarParts and me at Degen in Dallas..... Omg.

To eventually own a Mardi Gras V1 set, small and humble, but I got a sample set in like 2009 or something with a Craigslist purchase and was always fascinated by them, they’re so nice!

But more realistically, to meet some PCF’ers. I’m the one and only out of anyone I know who loves chips and I still haven’t met any PCF degenerates out there. Feel like I’m in a strange area that’s populated but PCF unpopulated lol. Maybe someday!

Legitimate 4 long term desires.

1. Custom Samples. Gotta catch them all. (And then somehow display them all).
I need to figure out what this looks like. I’d like to have a finish line for this so I could be done at some point.
2. One day, run a regular semi private game. Quarterly or biannually. Something between a home game and a meetup, with a reg crew/rotation of folks.

3. One day take family photo of every adolofo chip in their original adolofo chip storage.

4. Get a private order through Paulson on their B mold.

Move to the NOVA area...

When it comes to a poker bucket list, I see it differently—I could keep adding to it forever, so I won’t include “wish list” sets in mine. Sure, I’d love to have my own custom CPC set made exactly to my specs, but if it never happens, I won’t lose sleep over it.

Really, I have just one bucket list item that I’d love to check off repeatedly: co-hosting an annual Orange County meetup with all the chippers in my area. I’m talking about a four-day event where my poker club gets to show everyone around OC while enjoying cash games and a 50-player tournament right in the middle of it all. If I can make that happen—and the creator of this thread, along with as many others as possible, can join—then my bucket list is complete.

Attend more meet ups and play poker with more of the people on the forum.

I'm already happy with the chips I have, but will continue to change/swap out sets over the years.

Maybe play with some of the really nice sets once or twice. Vineyards, more nice TRK sets, more legendary THC leaded sets, the rare BCC sets. It's all a bonus from this point forward.

1. Finish RHC small stakes personal cash relabel set
2. Finish Tiger cash setup for medium stakes
3. Decide what path to take for a tourney set (2026) - CPC or next NAGB - likely wait in the shadows and see what the classifieds bring & then be outbid by @GodStillBlesses for a WSOP tourney set
4. Win a rack of TP secondary fracs in a high stakes hand with @horseshoez at a SoCal meetup
5. Get a regular small stakes game going (~$0.5/$1)
6. Get a $2/$5 going eventually once established
7. Follow @Thomacetti ’s lead and make time to travel and play a couple of WSOP smaller circuit buy ins
8. Spend less time on PCF and read more poker books…
9. Stop buying card setups
10. Lose a bet on over/under of @bergs being successful in attempt(s) at ‘inlay replacing’ @MatB - *phrased in @Gear preferred parlance
11. Be alive to see @davislane next post

(1) Get back to playing at the casino more often. Crazy the toll having a kid can play on your gambling.
(2) Attend a meetup (to be fulfilled later this year)
(3) Get my home game to play something other than NLH
(4) HSI secondary set
(5) Better fracs for my Roadhouse set

Win a rack of TP secondary fracs in a high stakes hand with @horseshoez at a SoCal meetup

Damn, I kinda forgot about that one. I’m gonna die and never finish my second rack. One barrel short of the dream. That’s messed up. I’m very sad all of a sudden.

  1. Finish my Vineyards set
  2. Establish a home game comfortable with PLO and mixed games
  3. Win an "event" tourney in Vegas or LA
  4. Make big tournies a part of the rhythm of life
  5. Become a winning player at $2/5 and above (most unlikely bucket item)

I would like the following, knowing that some are unlikely to ever happen.

Chips:
1) Custom SpeakEC Paulson set (Tournament and Cash).
2) Paulson Tournament set. My sets are generally over 2000 chips, so for me, it prices me out of most options, and TheChipRoom breakdowns never really work for my needs
3) Paulson (relabelled) SpeakEC tournament set (again, I need 2000+ chips, and the yellow/orange chips are hard to find in quantity -- needing 500)
** I can't justify spending 5 figures on poker chips, no matter what my budget is **
4) I've got 1 more CPC Tournament set in the works .. need to find the time to work with the designer, and save up the scratch for it.

Meetups:
1) I'm hoping the Denver meetup happens in the future, as I'd love to attend.
2) One in California
3) I'd love to host a meetup, just not at my house. (I don't have access to the basement outside of coming in the front door, which is a problem).
4) I'd like to play up in Michigan one weekend.

Misc:
1) I NEED to attend a baseball game with @liftapint
2) I need to share a pour with @Saoliver
3) I would love to golf with a bunch of the golfers (ahem .. Golf meetup with a little poker in there somewhere .... ????)

I've been very fortunate to attend a lot of meetups and meet a lot of great people on this forum. I'd love to meet everyone away from the tables at some point, but that won't happen.

Attend the world poker chip forum meetup, gotta happen someday, had to edit and say world instead of national !!!!

Still want to get some Gear labels and make my custom paulson poker chip set

Having a custom Paulson set I get to design from the ground up would be pretty amazing. I'll need to add that as a bucket list item. Would need to be larger enough to spread two games across larger buyin spreads.

- Have a larger Protege set than @Split
- Stack @bergs
- Attend an EU meetup
- Learn all of @inca911 's secrets
- Be added to @CraigT78 's invite list for Degen in Dallas V
- Some how payback @Irish for possibly saving my life once
- Sit at a meetup table with @BottomPair7
- Be the last table running again with @bsdunbar1
- Host a meetup
- Create a CPC custom set of comparable coolness to @kirchhausen 's Chessies
- Actually release a circus game app
- Win at least one WSOP bracelet

Ooh, fun thread idea:

1) Attend more meetups, especially some in the U.S.A.
2) Host a big meetup in a nice external location in Switzerland
3) Custom Paulson cash set, designed from the ground up.
4) Group Vegas trip with my local regs during WSOP
5) Play in the WSOP main event
6) Up my poker skills (regular study)
7) Get comfortable with games outside of NL Hold Em.

I want to do a big custom CPC cash set, but I need theme inspiration and it hasn’t struck yet.

I want to join the meetup circuit.

I want to expand my CPC dice chip set.

I want to wear PCF swag on a televised final table.

Ohhh ... one more..

I'd love to design the perfect poker software for the home market. It would:
- Manage events and RSVPs. (with email/text/app notifications)
- Have a front-end application for all users.
- Manage a database of all events so that users could filter the results however (finding average round out, who's busted them, etc. ... with drill downs)
- Allowing users that accepted the invitation to generate a barcode from their app to scan to buy-in to the game
- Running tournament software like TD, but it's built in.
- and several other items that I have thoughts on.

It's a huge lift, and would most likely cost a ton to develop .. and not sure if I'd have to patent anything or not. .. and how that process works. I also fear that it would be a small market for such detailed software that I would never recoup any of my costs.
