Your PCF Bucket List (1 Viewer)

Great thread!

- Join @Thomacetti on a trip to Vegas
- attend US meet-ups
- order my second CPC set
- own a BCC Riverboat or Speakeasy cashset
- stop keep rejoining the politics forum after quitting
- get/make a really nice poker table like an adult
- convince our local players to wanna do PL mixed games
- host more meet-ups

Ohhh ... one more..

I'd love to design the perfect poker software for the home market. It would:
- Manage events and RSVPs. (with email/text/app notifications)
- Have a front-end application for all users.
- Manage a database of all events so that users could filter the results however (finding average round out, who's busted them, etc. ... with drill downs)
- Allowing users that accepted the invitation to generate a barcode from their app to scan to buy-in to the game
- Running tournament software like TD, but it's built in.
- and several other items that I have thoughts on.

It's a huge lift, and would most likely cost a ton to develop .. and not sure if I'd have to patent anything or not. .. and how that process works. I also fear that it would be a small market for such detailed software that I would never recoup any of my costs.
Ask chat gpt to code it!

- Have a larger Protege set than @Split
- Stack @bergs
- Attend an EU meetup
- Learn all of @inca911 's secrets
- Be added to @CraigT78 's invite list for Degen in Dallas V
- Some how payback @Irish for possibly saving my life once
- Sit at a meetup table with @BottomPair7
- Be the last table running again with @bsdunbar1
- Host a meetup
- Create a CPC custom set of comparable coolness to @kirchhausen 's Chessies
- Actually release a circus game app
- Win at least one WSOP bracelet
Lets do it!!!!! @Joe Harris

1. get a grail off forum find

Sold me. I'll start development tonight.

This is one hell of a list!

1 and only, find a reasonably priced THC set! I assume that will be the impossible dream.
You can harvest a stalwart in Paris chips any time you want.

Considering they’re live chips, I think it automatically falls into reasonably priced as you’re guaranteed you’re money back regardless of what you harvest.

It depends on what you're looking for. There are currently no less than 3 classifieds listing that have playable THC cash sets for under $3/chip.

Which one of those tells you who busted whom? You have automated software constantly monitoring stack sizes?
When you bust someone out in Tournament Director, it asks who busted them. And if you have everyone seated the only options are at their current table, pretty streamlined. No monitoring of stack sizes other than simple average based on buy-ins and how many left, but its good to show on the screen.

It’s amazing how much “bucket list” is meet so and so, play cards with so and so, rob a bank with so and so.

How amazing to have bucket list items that are 100% feasible and a plane flight away.

Like…if the zenith of your hobby (where you’ve likely already or will soon drop 10s of thousands into) and drop dead number 1 thing…is something that’s a simple plane flight away….just do it?

Life’s too short for easily doable unchecked bucket list items.

1. Attend more meet-ups, have my eye on WAB as a priority meet up.
2. Cut down to 2 cash and 1 tourney sets
3. Copying from someone, but upgrade into a more permanent poker room.
4. Find a playable cash BCC Capital Room set, hint hint

Rob Barrie's sample collection.
My chipping journey is complete.

Someone robbing me being on someone’s bucket list - there is TRULY no better compliment or accomplishment in the chipping world.

I’ve now joined the likes of very few who have been threatened with robbery, and I recognize that. I, like you, once upon a time added someone to this list. I believe it was Jeep who I threatened, since I knew he’d be at my house for a meetup. Thus leaving his chips at risk. I might have also at a point threatened Kifer, and maybe Larry.

I appreciate your comment, and I can die happy now.

(I did laugh out loud, and I do feel I’ve now crossed a certain chipper “threshold”.)

Now that’s an idea, on your bucket list, name one PCF member’s chip vault you’d like to gain access to and be able to *legally* select one set from. Kinda like Jay Leno’s garage or our equivalent @ovo garage…

Add to my bucket list: liberate @Tonysquander curated CDI 98 set :)

There’s some vaults out there. Jeep has nice ish, even one of a kind ish.

But unless he needs a spreadsheet with at least 20,000 lines to track his clay, I don’t want it.

#VAULTWEEK

(Edit - nm it was steal ONE set, not everything from one person. I’m wrong.)
