Again, quick shout-out to @Hobbyphilic for producing such great Youtube content. Thanks to you & PCF, I was able to reconnect with the chipping community after the demise of the blue board.
Hi, I'm Mike and i'm a chipaholic. Umm yeah, where do I even start... I suppose I got hooked from the get-go & I just didn't even realize or know it. Sort of like when a person who's never taken drugs before and the first thing they try is heroin, yeah that was pretty much me.
Around that time i'd never even been to Reno, plus Atlantic City and Vegas were just places I'd seen in movies. Yet as college freshmen, me and some buddies were able to go gambling at Cache Creek since it was a dry casino back in the late 1990's and their legal gambling age was 18. So basically, during my first experience ever gambling in a real casino environment I encountered these:

And ever since, these THC Cache Creek yellows have been my holy grail chip and the standard that I judge other casino chips against. With all due respect to the Grand Casino Gulfport and Olivia's $1 chips, I still truly believe that the obsolete Cache Creek $1 is one of the finest Paulson chips ever made.
Anyways, just wanted to say this is an awesome forum and I'm so pleased to be a part of the PCF community. Cheers, Mike.
