So the $160 buyin is all on @Anthony Martino?

What I do in my spreadsheet is put in the starting bankroll. That number never increases, it always drops from any buyins made

At the end of all this, anything left in the bankroll is returned based on everyons percentages

For winnings I don't need to deduct the buyins from the event from them, since that amount is taken from the bankroll

So there will be $372 - $20 tip = $352. Half goes to me, half to backers

The same for all other events and anything remaining in the roll

Everything is being split 50/50

Y'all don't know how good you got it not only do you get a positive cash Anthony only used 1 bullet so he saved all you 2.5%'rs $4.00 more dollars.

So the official payouts for the event were set as follows with 10% of the field paid:

1st - $3,024 (36%)
2nd - $1,932 (23%)
3rd - $1,344 (16%)
4th - $924 (11%)
5th - $672 (08%)
6th - $504 (06%)

What do you all think of this with 15% of the field cashing?

1st - $2,100 (25%)
2nd - $1,428 (17%)
3rd - $1,092 (13%)
4th - $840 (10%)
5th - $756 (09%)
6th - $672 (08%)
7th - $588 (07%)
8th - $504 (06%)
9th - $420 (05%)

I approve.

@Anthony Martino please correct me if I'm wrong:

The tournament buy-ins are already paid and are now a sunk cost (50% on Anthony and 50% on the rest of us). So the split from any tournament should be a split of the gross winnings (minus tips, taxes, whatever other game-day expenses are incurred).

If he took out the buy-in from the winnings, he'd be double dipping.

I think we are saying the same thing. The net profit is less the buyin, which is already funded from the backers/@Anthony Martino. If you consider your investment lost money, then your profit is $8.80. If you're looking at ROI, then you made $4.80. Unless the budget was for two bullets...

Someone link to a Google Sheet, please.

(And kudos for use of the Seinfeld image!)

$372 - $20 tip = $352
$8.80 per 2.5%er.

I started an excel sheet on my PC, gotta clean it up a bit and will share updates as we go along

This picture is epic and hysterical. If I was you I’d make it my avatar on every social media including LinkedIn.

keep winning these cups and start stacking them inside each other at the table!

Agreed this pic is epic. But for reals, a tumbler is a pretty stupid championship gift.
