I agree, although with Newgarden as his second round pick, David got into that battle as well: Herta/Newgarden is a great combo. And Newgarden as the 13th pick is a steal imo.

Driver by driver, Rossi/Castroneves > Kanaan/Sato to me, but accounting for equipment this year, the equation might flip actually...
