@mummel the prices are going up today. Please place your order now. I thought you would be the first person to order.
They will be very close.
Had to see what my chips will look in Stacks...
I think the Royal Chips are going to be awesome
Most are 39. Majestic’s are 39 and most common Paulsons are 39 they use the 43 for higher value chips though, not always but generally.(still a newb) This is probably the dumbest question; but here it is....
Is the 43mm the same size as the Majestics? Or are these oversized? What size are most paulson/china clay chips? 39mm or 43mm?

These are oversized as it’s all the rage currently with members.
Thank you guys, that's what I thought but wasn't sure!43mm are oversized - the "standard" chips (be it clay/china clay/ceramic/etc.) are 39mm (not always, but usually).
Make sure you handle both sizes before buying anything. A lot of people on here love the oversized 43mm chips.
I am not one of them, for whatever reason.
This is my first set of chips I am purchasing and have custom labels made. I purchased a large amount wanted to get a pre sale price. Does anyone have any concern that these will not be good. I have a sample set of majestics that I really like. The Royals are being made by the same manufacturer. So is there any reason to worry about quality?

@jbriod, I like that they are oversized too and the spot patterns. Was almost going to buy set of majestics until I saw the pre sale. I really new to all of the this. I know we really won't know until they are released but from what I have read on PCF I do not think @Apache would support an inferior product.I'm looking forward to these as they will be oversized and diff spot patterns. Def think this will be an improvement from Majestics. I have a set of those and like them as well. Can't wait to see these in a few months. I think we'll all be happy as long as the current Majestic Manufacturer does the same quality of work.
Thanks again @Poker Zombie, this will be my first real set have only played with dice chips. So these will not collect dust. I have also read here that the newer runs of Majestics seem to be more durable. I am excited and can not to have custom labels made.Based on historical information...
Am I worried? No, I bought some. But I'm also cautious. I have plenty of sets to choose from, I don't need chips that will just collect dust.
- Majestics are brittle for chips. Not super brittle, but I have had a few broken in shipping, despite adequate (but not excellent) packing. Larger chips giver greater leverage that could facilitate breakage.
- Majestics are good chips, and these are expected to be the same (but larger)
- Some colors are experimental. Some colors from this manufacturer have turned out excellent (orange, light green) others have been dismal (red, light blue, pink). That's 2:3 against blurple being as good as I hope for. However, Josh physically gave a Horseshoe $25,000 chip with the instructions to "get as close as possible to this" - that could help a lot.
- Never played with CC 43mm, nor have I ever played with a complete set of 43mm chips. I have played with 36mm and hated them, but others have built complete sets out of 36mm chips and love them. It's a personal preference thing. I do not doubt some Majestic fans will love the 43mm, and some will hate them. Time will tell where I fall.
- Since the Majsetics, Josh has had the chance to receive feedback. He has always taken our comments to heart and made improvements when possible, so any "flaws" in the Majestics could have been addressed in the Royals.
From the OPGood afternoon,
These are listed at .44c per chip. Will that be the price going forward or is it expected to go up when they are in stock?
Also, will they be available for order in June when they arrive or is this mostly just strictly a pre-order only and not for "wide" release when they are made/arrive?
We have a poker league that ends in June with the top 9 points final table being early July and there's tons of interest for a "season 2". I wanted to get a nicer/mid level set for that. I can order some 100K chips now (love the color and they can be used with my current set....I know they are oversized) but would be getting a 600-800 chip set demoms 1K thru 100K (we do a 250K starting stack) in June/July.
Thanks for any help/assistance.
Mark your calendars the presale will start on 1/31.
Prices will be $.39 for labeled chips and $.38 for blanks.
The price will increase to $.44 and $.43 on 2/3.
The price will go up to full retail price when the chips arrive to Las Vegas.
The chips will not be in stock till June.
From the OP
Given the excessive number of Chinese holidays (compared to the US), delays are very common with Chinese production. Further delays are probable in US customs. Then there's the time needed to pack and reship all the chips. Then there's the possibility that the chips will be toured around the country by the post office, taking even longer for them to arrive. While Josh says they will not be in stock until June, I would not hang my hat on them arriving on your doorstep June 2nd.
Labels are adhesive backed, precut to size, and ready to apply.A question regarding labels, i have ordered my set of Royals (first chip set) - some labelled & some not so i can relabel some chips to the values i require - do the labels come as a sticker or do you need to apply adhesive also are they cut out to suit the correct size or is this something i would have to do?
