Ordered some CPC 44mm chips and was wondering if anyone already did a design file they could share for a 3D print? Or are there other oversized racks that should fit these loosely? Sorry if this topic is frequently mentioned.

44mm from CPC are strange beasts to find a rack for. I finally gave up and went with the 50mm covered racks that Justin offers here:

It looks like he might be out of them right now, but reaching out to him might be your best bet.

(any other 43mm or "oversized" racks just don't work. The only other one that I used was from Abbiati, but I can't find those at all.)

I've got 10 old octagon-style covered racks that should fit CPC 44mm chips, but they are too wide for a standard birdcage. PM me if you are interested in purchasing - I used them previously for 43mm Sun-Fly chips.

Thanks for the 44mm design. Since I don’t have a 3-D printer, any recommendations on where to get them made online?

I uploaded the STL file to a few different online printing websites today for quotes and it came out to $100 to print one tray…
Soooo...how many did you order??

I didn’t place the order. For $100 I would rather buy more chips.. Will have to look on the forum about other options

Look up Sparkynutz!!! He sells many poker related racks/items that are 3D printed and his prices are VERY affordable. If you can't find him let me know!!

Aren't they coming in card boxes from CPC?
You could leave the chips there, after cleaning both the chips and the card boxes (the latter, presumably with baby wipes)

I’m using Justin’s 50mm racks. They work fine.
I am as well. Here they are "in the wild".

From above. Chips fit easily with only a little play at the top and bottom. Room to spare side to side. I'm OK with the play, but some people might not care for it.

Close up on the space between each barrel and the dividers in the racks.

Finally, sitting on top of the cage with their 39mm brethren.

These really are the way to go for CPC 44mm chips.

Bought some racks from Apache, good thing is since the clamshell, like the hexagonal ones shown above, if I use them in a hard case, each rack essentially will function as 2.

Apache is out of stock now though....

I have been watching this thread and decided to adapt my design so I can print it with fewer failures and a different design.
I don't have a printer large enough to print the 44mm CPC tray that has five barrels of 20 chips each. Very few printers are big enough.
I can print one that is FOUR barrels of 25 chips each for the same 100 chip capacity.

However, I don't have 200 CPC 44mm chips to make sure it is the right dimensions, etc.

If you are interested in a 4x25 layout and have 200 44mm CPC chips I will send two racks to you for honest feedback. I need to know if they fit, if the design is ok, if the quality of the tray is ok, etc. and a few photos of the chips in the racks for quality control and maybe marketing.

Once I get it tuned in I will offer these here and maybe on Etsy (or similar) basically at cost.

I don't care if you share your feedback with others or not.

The first person who PMs me will get two trays to try and keep (or toss if you won't like them). No strings attached except I want the feedback and some photos.

Thanks.

I make spacers now for any size chips in these 43 or 50mm racks if you don't like having play in them holding chips tight to the top of rack when closed.
Message me for more info.
