Blue, green, grey, pink, purple, black. If I were to pick those that most stand out to me that would be the blue, green and the grey with the blue being my absolute favorite.

I really want to do some sort of nerdy theme, think star wars, lord of the rings, dracula, samurai's, etc. though i'm also really into art deco as well and think some sort of pulp style theme would be awesome think indiana jones, the rocketeer, dick tracy, gansters, g-men, zepplins, etc.

Well this is your chance to be creative on the cheap. You like 6 of the colors so 200 of each = 120 bucks for 1200 chips, can't beat that with a stick. Or pick 2 that would be your high denom that you don't need a lot of and bump those down to 100. Any frac could be 125 quantity also. Or if you want tourney stick to this breakdown for a super simple 400 chip count 10 person set for 40 freaking bucks

Honestly a 400 tourney and 600 cash would be perfect but you might have to use the same color in each depending how many denoms you need for cash

we currently use .25s, 1s, 5s and i have a barrel of 25s and a barrel of 100s but playing .25/.50 with like a 50 dollar buy in amongst 10 people i have yet to see the bank go over 1300 dollars, yet my current set is as follows:

basically, for where my group is, I think my current cincy cash set is overkill even . Not to mention, we haven't even decided or really seriously talked about playing a tourney yet as everyone seems most interested in cash games. I may want to add nickles for my next set as I have some extremely new players who want to get involved but I think they'd be even more comfortable playing with microstakes of .05/.10 etc.

sounds like you could do 125 quarters, 200 1s, 300 5s and 75 20s in case shit gets wild one night. I couldn't decide what color to use for 5 cause no yellow. Probably something like grey 5 cent, pink quarter, blue 1, purple 5, black 20.

Is it sad I'm just excited to open a box of 1000 chips? It'll be by far 10x more chips than I've ever received at once. Like Christmas in November. The sticker part I'm dreading, but in no rush.

I got like 900 when I made my set and it took awhile to put the labels on. I ended up recruiting my wife and son to help and it went much quicker

Mine were purchased back in 2011 during the original PGI group buys for these chips. I noticed the pallet Gene got was devoid of the yellow chips. I would believe the yellows were probably all bought up when Joe (PGI) announced his retirement sale, prior to ABC obtaining the rest of his inventory.

On my cricut design space I create 1.1" circles and place my design inside the circle. Copy/paste X's 4,564 and whala!

Just do what I did and panic buy 200 of every color you like. It's so cheap you can figure out the label down the road. I don't even know if I'm going cash or tourney yet lmfao. If there was enough color options to do 4 chips for tourney and 5 for cash I would have done that. 800 chips is 80 dollars. Just amazing for a large cash, heads up, micro, massive tourney, or back up set. My thoughts were my main set might be broken up or in disarray due to a trade, upgrade or forced to sell something situation so it'll be nice to have a super cheap back up cash or super cheap entry to the tourney scene set.

Tldr: I have no use for these but panic bought them anyway hoping I figure it out later.

I did the exact same thing. I have no legit plans for them, as I just bought a tourney set of Majestics I’m still waiting to receive, and I’m building a Paulson cash set. So these chips are going to be waiting a while before I figure out what to do with them. I like the straight edge spot CCs they make w this mold better but for 10c, you can’t go wrong. Buy em and figure it out down the road

i really want a set of these. just can't decide on a small 1 table tourney set or a small cash set. then there is the predicament of figuring out what to label them with.
