A bunch of Scrub Donkeys (4 Viewers)

I shared the highlights of this thread yesterday with my better half as I was laughing at the origin story and glorious arc of @Hammer2171

Anyways, today my wife text me a picture of my toddler’s scribbles she taped to the wall today and asked for $1m…

...but the idea of buying in/cashing out of a meetup in a super-stable crypto-currency, such as SDonks has an appeal.

A hardware wallet is an encrypted usb device where you store the password that secures your crypto currencies. I use a Ledger, which is a popular model you can buy on Amazon and lots of other places.

SOL means Solana, which is the name of a popular crypto currency and also the blockchain on which many meme coins are traded. Meme coins like SDONK are traded on the Solana network because it is super fast and super cheap, making it conducive to high volume and generally goofing off.

You can absolutely use the Solana blockchain to exchange stable coins like USDC for virtually free, with no moderation. Compare this to PayPal who charges big fees and cancels your account when you mention poker.

The technological gap is shorter than people think but still large enough to prevent mass adoption, but I strongly believe that will get resolved which makes me so bullish on crypto in general. It’s the same dynamic as the internet 30 years ago.

If you actually want help setting up a cold storage and playing around, I’d be happy to help you. It isn’t for everyone but I have fun with using $$ that is not material to my finances.

Great. So the part I understood about "I use a ledger"... I really didn't understand at all.
