A little overwhelmed (2 Viewers)

This would be an awesome limit set. Make every chip worth whatever.

Yes, JM/John. Very good dude and quietly went into the night when CT was having problems due to Greg's inattention. I have a sample from the Casino Antartica set...the blue $1 if I recall. This one is a $500.

The three-putt poker chip is different from either of the sample sets I have from Josh. I wonder if this was an earlier set for him, or whether it was someone else using the same theme.

This is a longshot, but I was on ice with a John from Mass; last name start with an O? Gosh that would be a crazy overlap but I've got to ask. Wonderful man, played lots of poker while I was there.

John (JM) is a different wonderful man, but his last name does not start with an O.

Indeed, one of the CT mod and another awsome chipper we lost on our tracks

I believe that I am going to go ahead an attempt to assemble a $1/$2 rat rod ash set set comprised only of roman mold chips. I suspect there are going to be enough, but it'll be close. Fingers crossed.
I appear to be short on red Roman Mold chips for a $1/$2 set. Even with sneaking some "redish" (brown/pink) into the mix, I am still short about 60 chips. I may have to start mixing molds, or in the alternative start hunting red roman mold singles on the forum.

Oddly, there is a significant number of solid black roman mold chips amongst these boxes. Those appear to the be the preferred chips for promo/advertising, especially for attorneys. Interesting fact, I threw some of the attorneys names into google searches to see if they were still practicing and offering to send them their chips if they wanted, and found that the majority of them have been in some significant legal trouble. There appears to be some nexus between attorneys using poker chips as an advertising medium and their ability to practice law without getting into trouble...

Here are the roman mold chips that were amongst the chips I received. Looks to be about 900 chips (or 1/3 of the haul). Cash set lightly oiled on the left, other roman mold chips (yet to be oiled) to the right. The reds have some pinks/purples and browns mixed in, and I think I may pull the purples out of the racks. I have black chips for days....

So I decided to separate the chips according to mold, and there were a few molds mixed in that I was not familiar with. I know that there is a link to a spreadsheet on here somewhere with the molds that CPC and its predecessors used and the timer periods that the molds were in production, but I am having difficulty locating it. Anybody know what I am referring to that can help? Here are a few of the outliers (sorry for my inability to take better photos):

Figured the best way to keep track of these is by mold. Chip counts of the molds for the chips received are as follows:

Plain mold: 55
Hourglass: 36
FDL: 50
Nevada Mold: 75
HHR: 340
CSQ: 45
H-Mold: 105
Large Greek Key: 190
E&C:145
DieCar: 165
TriClub: 155
A-Mold: 340
Roman Mold: 900 (roughly 550 not shown b/c I have them segregated for a cash set).
Other: 100

My plan is to just keep these as a collection. I'm going to pull out and display some of the more artistic chips, but otherwise I plan on holding on to them and admiring them for what they are. I stand by my prior offer to send any copies of chips in this collection to the original designers upon their reaching out to me and paying postage. One designer reached out already, but decided they were ok with me keeping the chips for this collection.

I have another 3800 or so of these chips incoming, and I am very excited to sort through them as well. I'm happy to act as a resource (providing photos, etc.) for members on these older custom chips as may be needed.

Looks like this is a duplicate.

I'd be interested in acquiring one. I can share the story of why, if you're interested. Also, interested to see if any of my ASM Roman Mold customs are included.

I am not a designer; just a Greek from Greece, who would love some pieces of Greek Mold, if possible.

Received the remainder of the chips from David, and have them all sorted out. Total of about 2200 Roman mold chips, which I am partial to. There is a rack of brown chips not pictured, along with a rack comprised of extras that wouldn't fit in these racks. Decisions decisions....
