A very expensive sample set (1 Viewer)

Shortly after finding this site, I'd decided on a set of 35 cent China clays. Then I saw the Boardwalk group buy, and convinced myself that for 60 cents a piece, I should go in that direction. Then I ordered this sample set, just to see what all the Paulson hype was about.
That was a decision that seems like it will cost me A LOT of money.
Tomorrow I'll receive two racks of Terribles $1's that cost me almost $400. And clearly that is just the beginning.
 
It never gets any cheaper! Enjoy the addiction!
 
Any chance to trade or buy the $10,000 Casino De Mexico chip from you?
 
I haven't gotten into shipping things yet and i hate the post office. But if you want to send me a self addressed stamped envelope or whatever, so I can drop the chip in that, then drop it in a mailbox, it's all yours.
 
Not to be a bubble burster, but have you gotten a sample set of the RHC mold (Terrible's) chips, or just the TH&C (Casino de Mexico) chips? Paulsons are all "similar", but I HUGELY prefer the look, feel and sound of TH&C mold over RHC, just my $.02 before you go investing too far into more chips haha.

I guess I'll get to decide for myself tomorrow.
The good thing is, it wouldn't be too hard to sell them, if I didn't like them.
 
I think you'll like the RHC mold. Personally I prefer that over the TH&C. The RHC has a larger area for a bigger inlay 1 1/16. Almost every casino set that I like is on the RHC but the TH&C is nice too. To each their own!

Absolutely. I really like RHC, but I love TH&C. You have no problem finding those a home if you decide likewise. I own sets of both, so there's that!
 
nice, great choice on the terrible's. One of my favourite $1 chips but out of my price range at the moment :)

Well, I love them. Yeah the mold is different. My children are each different too.
By the way, check out how the green edge spot matches the dunes $20 baccarat that I'd chosen for the top end of this soon-to-be .25/.50 mixed set. Cool!
 
It's a single chip that means more to you than me - you can have it.
 
Thanks. In another thread, I was asking for suggestions for $20's for a mixed cash set. @Shaggy suggested the oversized Dunes, and the second I saw them, I was hooked.
 
@upNdown. Just one piece of advice. You might try to avoid PCF when the mortgage payment is due because that's when all the sets you've been searching for will come for sale...guaranteed. Although...I have been unable to follow my own advice :ROFL: :ROFLMAO:
