I've been sitting on these new chips for a few weeks now - I've not had time to do some proper pics until the game this weekend.

When they arrived, I wasn't 100% sure I liked them - but after a few hours of riffling at my desk, I fell in love and I can honestly say I've not been quite so excited by a purchase (of anything) for a long time. I can't quite put my finger on why... maybe you addicts can tell me ;)

A few thanks:

* @mattross1313 for helping me with the chip and label graphics for print in a very professional and prompt manner.
* @MrRossKeys for letting me use his chip designs.
* @TheRealStephen12, @krafticus and the slightly more aggressive @BGinGA from this thread https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/t25-tournament-structure-for-annual-league.127683/ for helping with the new blind structure and denominations.
* @Chris Manzoni for his videos, that really helped me clear up some general home game organisation loose ends.

I appreciate that the labels are a little flat in comparison to other designs out there, but it's exactly what I wanted and I think the chip colours more than make up for this anyway. The purple text didn't come out brilliant on the black, but it is legible and it didn't cause any issues during the game.

Got the following denominations:

T25 x 250
T100 x 250
T500 x 100
T1000 x 125
T5000 x 75

Essentially enough for 20k per head for a 20 player game, plus some extra for bonuses etc. The new blind structure went down really well, and we even got finished about 1 1/2 hours earlier than normal (going to put in longer breaks and possibly increase the round times from 15 mins to compensate).

Unfortunately the UK group buys I tried to sort out didn't go to plan, and it didn't work out with Justin, so I ended up going direct with the supplier; I didn't liaise with Tina (she wasn't replying), I spoke to a guy called Lymann at the same place via Alibaba's messaging service, and he was very helpful. Going direct wasn't all that scary - and I saved a chunk even though I was the only one paying for shipping. Personally, I think the amount I paid (including shipping) was an absolute bargain - thanks to everyone who encouraged me to go with the Tinas.

I've also included some pics of matching table seating plaques that I've had done by a local printer recently, a few full layout pics, and an unflattering pic of me standing proudly with all my new stuff :)

These look great!

How do the T100 and T500 play together? Any issues with confusing the colors?

These make me want to do more tri-pie sets :)

T100 and T500 work fine together - no issues of confusion at all. T1000 and T5000 are a little more similar when stacked though, but they all work out OK imo.

In hindsight I should probably have switched the designs around a little (altered colours slightly), but I am more than happy with how they've worked out. What I was really interested in was the bright colours and web mould - love them both!

Also worth noting that I didn't really think about the "tri-pie" design... only criticism is that if you want to do a full pr0n pic - i.e. all stacked and spot aligned - you've got at least double the work, as all the chips have to be the right way up. I did not do this, however, I just aligned the stacks with some boards then span the top chips around :)

Oh, another thing to say is that there are literally ZERO spinners (was worried about this after reading other threads), though I expect that is down to the fact they're inset hybrids, and the web mould makes them a bit rougher than smooth chips.

Last observation is that the spot alignment is not perfect, but it's bloody close enough. Lymann warned me that only 90% would be aligned - but I would say that all of them are slightly off, but not enough for it to be a problem for the general user.

These look amazing! What was the timeline from you first reaching out to Lyman to the chips completing production and shipped?

I had all the designs ready to go (Matt was very quick, but apparently I was very "easy" to work with ;P). Timeline below:

* 14th Feb - first enquiry, received quick quote back, put in official request
* 15th Feb - sent files and agreed on designs, denominations, labels and I paid the invoice. Was quoted 15-18 days for production. to shipping.
* 20th Feb - Lyman confirmed semi-glossy labels was OK. Wasn't aware I had options, but went with what he suggested (very happy with end result)
* 4th March - Asked for an update, they were in progress - he confirmed labels would be finished by Friday (7th March)
* 10th March - Asked for an update
* 11th March - He sent some pics and confirmed shipping would be on 12th March
* 17th March - I asked for an update and tracking number. Tracking said it was labelled on 14th March. I sat and stared at the UPS tracking info for a few days ;)
* 20th March - Received shipment @ 17:30

If I was being really fussy, I would say the communication *could* have been better (I didn't get any updates without asking for them), but I'm not :) If you consider weekends, they were almost bang-on with quoted production times, and shipping was pretty damn quick considering. I think they hand labelled every chip, too.

Worst thing was the wait... pure agony. I was so excited. I still am. It's weird :D

Very nice mate - looks great!

What software do you use for your tournament timer?

It's the best kind of Christmas morning feeling finally receiving the packages and opening them. Congratulations on something you created that wouldn't exist on planet earth if it weren't for you... I don't think I'll ever get tired or less excited when completing and ordering custom chips.

I...I...I... want another set. There. I said it. Out loud. This time, I want to design my own, and get bigger chips.

Its brewing. Don't tell the wife. I really can't justify another set ;)
