Alibaba High Quality Casino Chairs (with discount!) (4 Viewers)

I ordered 10 chairs but the UPS tracking number they provided shows 12 packages. The package is still in China being processed though. Anybody have a different number of packages in the UPS tracking compared to number of chairs ordered?

I was given a International tracking number, so unsure about that piece. The status didnt update from China for almost a month, but are now in a city just 12 hours away .... decent chance before this Saturday's game I think.

This should be 10 packages for the backs and seats, and 2 packages of just the legs for all 10 chairs.

You can message Gavin for an update. He was able to let me know when my package was being shipped out. It should show up in your orders and the status does get updated from there to show shipping info.

Thanks @Venturalvn I am probably never taking this plunge without your post. I haven't got through everything, but assuming no damage, and that they hold-up relatively well; I'll be in the happy camp.

Also @Venturalvn instructions are the only ones, none in the few boxes I have opened so far. But with a drill, instead of the supplied allan key, a chair can be put together in like 5 minutes.

Of note Canadians, shipping was kinda brutal at $800USD, and there was $125USD in taxes, BUT that covered Import / Custom / Taxes.

Timeline - Couple days of back and forth with Gavin. Payment sent 14JUL. Shipped 16AUG. Received 22SEP.

That's awesome! I have nothing to lose or gain from pimping these guys - just my reputation. I do really believe that you'll be happy with these for some time. My chairs have dozens of hours and they are still just great as they were when I assembled them. Nothing is coming loose, nothing is flattening out - if anything they're breaking in just enough to be more comfortable as time goes on.

The one thing that will always be up in the air is shipping. I hear it hurts right now. It kinda feels like Canadians will always get a worse deal on shipping than the US anyways, but hopefully the chairs are worth as much or more than you paid all in.

Looking forward to seeing more!

EDIT: It was funny not seeing any assembly instructions, but it seemed enough for me to make my own assumptions so I put together the pictorial myself. I did end up getting a video from Gavin after the fact before I put any weight on them, which confirmed what I did was right. But honestly the video was small and had no close ups, so I left my pictorial there because I think it's most useful out of the box.

I've been sitting on one of these for like 5 hours, working from home today; after assembling last night. We play in just under an hour, and I cant wait.

Comfy, sturdy, easy on the eyes, roll, rise, and swivel. These are a massive upgrade from our dining room chairs we were using. I know our players are gonna love'em.

How did the chairs and the game go?

They were awesome. Everyone loved them. Impossible to ignore how good they looked around the table. Just a fantastic upgrade to the game. About to get a hot dog roller and ride off into the subset lol.

They were comfy. We have never been more comfortable, the wheels made it easy for players to move around getting snacks, drinks, washroom. We would easily swivel and stretch our legs out. People set heights with the riser. They had more lean / give than our dining room chairs. It was just really clear that buying them was a great decision.

Storage is a bit of challenge, but after a couple hours in the junk room, I have overcome that (Without having to L stack them).

They look great! I wonder for storage if one could be placed upside-down on the other one, seat to seat?

It works, I just thought I'd avoid the continual weight on riser valve, and dealing with seat height settings so the top of the downward chair didn't make contact with the floor.

So I was surprised to get a shipping alert so quickly. How long from your first alert to when you received them? I’m going to be away (in Vegas for work) in two weeks:oops:

Yep. We were totally cool with that. As that is what we thought from the beginning. There was also a port strike ongoing, not sure if that played into the length, everything I had / have read implies a few weeks minimum for overseas boat shipping.

Whats the cost per chair looking like with the discount these days? Also is it a 10 chair minimum? I only need 8 sadly...

I'll let others chime in who have had more recent conversations with him, but I believe he is pretty easy to work with for minimums given that we're starting to give him a bit of business.

Cost per chair is likely largely dictated by shipping costs (which are not discounted), so it's best to just strike up a conversation with him to get that information for your own location and needs. There is no obligation to purchase, even if you're talking with him.

Wow…5 weeks in transit?
Mine was 2 months from payment to the door. I believe it was just under 30 days in production, 3 weeks on the boat, and stuck on the dock for 10 days before they hit my front door via UPS.

Having taken part in many Tina buys, 2 months is about par from order placed to arrival to the door is expected. This was right on par.

Here are my date milestones, kinda tracks in line with what everybody else is seeing.

8/21 - Submitted order
9/12 - Package received at warehouse
9/14 - Package has been released from warehouse, UPS tracking # provided
9/19 - Customs
9/21 - Departed from origin port

One month down, another month to go. Can't wait.

I submitted my order on 8/20 and it tracks the exact same as yours.

Got an email last Monday that they shipped but the link just says “label created”. I messaged Gavin last night and he replied they did ship and would get me a tracking number later  Not sure what that means but I haven’t received anything else. Hope to hear something soon

I have had similar things before with shipping from China so no need to panic
