All Majestic Star pr0n goes here (2 Viewers)

I'm told it's hard to overlabel worn chips and get a good result.
This is probably true. I had a rack of decently worn Seven Mile $1s that had been overlabeled by another member and I was pleased enough to give it a shot. It'll be far from perfect, but if it doesn't work I might just have to get good with the ol' Exacto.

Oh here’s what’s left. Come and get’em

They’re just too dark for me. I like brighter chips

I would love a barrel of your best $500 but understand if you don't want to break a rack.

TIP: Was gonna mention before but forgot, people say not good to put the really used chips in racks of 100, well for the really used chips, trick is use dealer tray spacers, put back of the barrels if displaying your chips forward and 66.7mm should fit snug and if you only have 67.7mm will be good enough as well.

Forgot, I use these if you have OCD or do not have any dealer spacers.

A Low Limit Set All Cleaned Up

They arrived with the 25+ chips having seen the people of Gary...the 1's are new and the 5's a few were touched maybe once.

After a Ultrasonic bath in tap water @ 42degrees celcius, with dish soap and course salt cycled for 20-30 seconds then scrubbed with a toothbrush/wood toothpick and then cycled another 10-20 seconds to remove the now loose "dirt".

As expected, these chips are filthy. Really filthy. I took a quik look then put them in a tub full of water, adding bleach and strong soap. Water became quickly grey

Glad you received them safe but please be carefull with soaking chips for hours....water can seep passed the label laminate and soak the label.
Could be noticable after drying.

Planning to grab this as my first set because my name is literally on the chip. Unfortunately it looks like really hard to find a set in good condition.o_O

Found "only" four very dirt chips (rack checks): 2x 500$ plus 2x 1$. One side perfect, other side dirty.
A round of Magic eraser cleaned much of dirty on 500s
pre: IMG_20220108_120428.jpg IMG_20220108_120938.jpg
after: IMG_20220108_121545.jpg

I found also 2 strange chips: a 100$ with off-center inlay and a 5$ very faded... who knows what happened to it!
IMG_20220108_120416.jpg

My tought:
1$ chips are better than expected
older 5$ (GO and white inlay) are very, very worn.
Bacc-Room and pink inlay chips are much better, I think I will use them separately from white-inlay chips
25$ are just OK. Anniversary 25 much better
100$ are in the same shape of 25$... I like them because of metal flakes and "bear claw"
500$ maybe need a little oil, purple it's less "strong" than expected
1K ... I did not expect much from them: they are dirty and color it's not much brilliant. Maybe a litte oil can work

I know that you mean, when I opened the box of the NCV 36mm they smell was like opening surplus ammo or old hockey gear. I could only imagine what the cash chips smelled like. I only ordered the NCV chips. I mean even the boxes were yellow lol
