Unfortunately that’s not true everywhere. You can fit 21 worn Aria chips into their 67.7mm racks. They should change to smaller 66.7mm racks...I guess....but when I’ve played poker at casinos, the chips never fit in the racks like that. They always fit nice and tight, and both the racks and chips were well used and worn.
Thanks! I didn't realize these racks existed until just now. I just ordered one for R&D purposes for spacers. That’s a bummer. But with worn chips you are going to have that same problem with a Matsui, Paulson, or Chipco racks. Are use the plastic spacers like the one from Spinetti‘s (although got them on Amazon for cheap) and they work but they’re not perfect. I know @One Eyed Dollar was making spacers for the Matsuis...Maybe he will make some for the Apaches?
I did try one your 1mm spacers in the Apache racks; they don't fit (but that's expected). If you do make some that fit, that would be THE BOMB!Thanks! I didn't realize these racks existed until just now. I just ordered one for R&D purposes for spacers.

There's no such thing as a "standard" birdcage since they all vary WRT their interior and exterior dimensions. With that said, yes, they do, as long as the birdcage meets these qualifications:Hi just wondering if anyone can tell me.. Do these new racks fit into standard birdcages?
There's no such thing as a "standard" birdcage since they all vary WRT their interior and exterior dimensions. With that said, yes, they do, as long as the birdcage meets these qualifications:
The birdcage must measure: 9 5/8" wide (8 7/8" interior platform)
A birdcage that measures 8.75" wide (8 3/8" interior platform) will NOT fit
Matsui racks were like a gift from the heavens when I first started here. My very first set were the Apache Royals, and I had no where to store them. I can't let my old Matsui's go; they're like an old friend who was there for you when you needed them.I sold my Matsui racks to buy these Apache racks. Partly OCD, partly because I think they are a better design and sturdier, partly because when I need more I can get them faster and cheaper than Matsuis.
Have to say yes, since Matsui racks do...Apache Racks fit in birdcages?!?!
Just admit it - they are for you.I just bought 34 Apache racks after is impossible to find Matsui anymore
( no only for me I’ll split with some friends)
Nice to know we can mix both
Sure do! Here are some measurements so you can ensure yours are compatible:Apache Racks fit in birdcages?!?!
Jeeeeeez Jonathan!!!!!Just admit it - they are for you.

That was only round 2 ... round 1 was earlier in the year. I figured at one point that a lack of racks would curb my chip addiction. Then I just ended up with chips in my bed, on the floor, in the shower ... so I gave in and just pre-bought.Jeeeeeez Jonathan!!!!!
chips in . . . in the shower ...
Don't knock it 'til you try it, Nav
I agree, the design is better on the apache racks - the apache guardrails are a definite improvement and @One Eyed Dollar 's spacers look like that fit the racks and chips beautifully, but putting it all together would be the nuts. @Apache any chance you can incorporate the standard chip sleeves within the apaches to cradle the barrels like the standard racks?I sold my Matsui racks to buy these Apache racks. Definitely not a knock. Truly considering the possibilities...Don't knock it 'til you try it, Nav
GeniusFWIW and in case anyone has both matsui racks and apache racks, you can mix and match the top and bottom halves of the racks - that'll allow you to line up the holes and interlock the racks to stack them securely; just need to keep alternating tops and bottoms though

If someone mentioned this already, feel free to ignore, because i didn't bother to search lol
They fit just like Paulson... Actually, some of my CPC chips were too thick for chipco racks, but then slot right into the Matsui/Apache.Anyone try cpc chips in these?
