I prefer when the inlay/lable pulls the set together.

ack !This needs a trigger warning spoiler for those members who are OCD enough to not mix unleaded and leaded THCs, shaped and round inlays or even LCV and SCV THCs @RocAFella1 @AfterTheFact @BGinGA
What did the horseshoe .50 chip used to be?I've owned many many mixed sets, and ended up selling all of them...save for one. It's very difficult for me to stay satisfied with a mix of chips
This set took me years to amass and assemble - needless to say it's my favorite mixed set and I am very happy with it. All chips are leaded THC

That's a Horseshoe Southern Indiana quarter (25c) chip, and it's an original issue from the casino. What did the horseshoe .50 chip used to be?
Wow I think I was drunk thinking it wasn’t a quarter… that’s a beautiful chip! I’m glad it’s not Bob Stupak’s hot stamp $1That's a Horseshoe Southern Indiana quarter (25c) chip, and it's an original issue from the casino.
Holy cow that's a lot of $1s! I love those flamingo chips.I am pretty happy with my mixed set. Yes, I only have one mixed set. I have many different fracs and $1's to pick from. It is like playing with a new set every time I pull out the chips. This is my mixed Nevada set that I am always adding on to.

It's a great looking set. Shame not to play them. Go find some new poker buddies! There are some beautiful mixed sets on this thread. I built a mixed RHC set and I would say the hardest part was trying to be the line up creator if that makes sense. Edge spot progression and chip colours are where I struggled the most. Then there is the costly mistake of buying the wrong chips, reselling and sourcing new ones etc. Deciding whether to over label or full inlay replacement…..
In the end it was fun and I learned a lot. I just wish I used them more. Our group only has 3-4 games a year now with young kids, busy schedules etc….
