So your postal service will make more than one delivery attempt per day? Sometimes I feel lucky if they slow down their truck to make a single delivery attempt over here.

Some courier services will attempt another day, but not AusPost. They will lodge it at the nearest Post Office, which is what will happen here. I must have just missed them. They lodge all 'undelivered' parcels around 4:00pm, so no use going up there now ...

I love how they were updating the record and never advised me once, even though I requested e-mail notifications. Oh well, almost there and I keep the 100% success rate (all being well with the package).

Just got home to find a 'Failed Delivery' card in my door for my 'LOST' international package and I was like -

Now I have to wait four (4) hours to see if it is in one piece etc ... So much for Australia Post and their 'enquiries'.

At least it is now in Bald Hills again.

Edit UPDATE - Double WTF - the USPS record indicates it went to New Zealand at some stage, before returning to Brisbane!!

In all seriousness, thanks so much mate - packaged beautifully and it is anyone's guess how it got re-routed to New Zealand. Still, awesome to have it all now. Will do proper mail pron post write up with appropriate kudos for a job well done .
