Your inference is incorrect. I wanted these chips for specific existing set purposes. I have no interest in running up chip costs to maintain or “up the value” of what I have. That mindset/strategy is not even in the same ballpark of how I choose to participate in this hobby.This set won’t be leaving the Sazerac Room as long as I’m running it, so I could care less what anyone thinks the chip values are.

The $5 is the worst casino chip in any casino chip lineup ever. Mostly because the rest of the Aztars (50c, $25, $100) like these $1 chips are so very very good.The $5 inlay is also oversized and not textured because some people just like to watch the world burn
