Let's get this party started! I know you guys have been getting these in the mail. Let's show them off!

I couldn't wait after getting these to get pictures taken of them. Had to go ahead and get them all unwrapped. These are going to look so nice on a table.

As someone who has always loved the Bellagio and seeing it on the strip from a young age, my sister calling it "her" casino and the beautiful inside and all it was only right to get a set. I've always loved the 1st edition Bellagio chips so I knew it was the perfect chance to get a set of these chips. On top of them most likely all being destroyed by the gaming commission in Nevada, these chips would never see the light of day in their original form. Making ceramic tribute chips would be the next best thing and the closest thing to the original. I want to say a BIG THANKS to @justincarothers @Colquhoun @TheOffalo @Buge and everyone who was involved in this project. From the designing of the chips, getting the group buy made, having dealer buttons made and custom cut cards to make a FULL Bellagio Tribute set is absolutely amazing and I couldn't be more happy. These no mold textured chips are much much much better than the original no mold non textured sample chips so that was a great choice! Textured ceramics will always be nicer than slippery ones in my opinion. Enough talking.... let's get to the pictures!

@Colquhoun deserves so much credit for his designs, on all the chips and the cut cards, and the button too! I played a small part reshipping cut cards; thanks to @Buge for running that GB, and of course the GB monster @justincarothers on the Tina GBs.

@Okku these look so great! I am even more hyped for mine to arrive!

Mine arrived today and I’m really happy with them. Just a quick photo of my favorite of the bunch:

It’s interesting, I expected the no-mold textured to be similar to some older textured Nevada Jack Skulls chips I have, but these textured ones from Tina are great.
The texture isn’t nearly as prominent, it just gives a great feel, and the chips a nice grip with each other. Definitely grippier than the cards mold chips.

They look really good, fantastic work from everyone involved.

Trying to fight the urge to order but I won't fight much longer

Looks good. I feel like this is the only color option really for a 25c - $20/25 set. If you go with the light blue quarters, they appear to be too close a blue to the $1. So you go with the orange quarters, but then you cant go with the $20 because those are way too close and dirty stack bait with the quarters. SO you have to go orange quarters and green $25 to avoid the color issues.

As much as I like the $20 option, its weird that its the only chip in the set where the denom color is matched to spot purple instead of the base color of the chip...

If anyone is considering picking up a set of these chips I just made a video on my channel talking about them. Showing them off in person through video to hopefully show how they look and my overall thoughts about them!

Comparison with the real deal.
Seems like some people's chips have that thin black round line on the upper left of the inlay, and others don't. This is visible on your $20 in the photo. Is this a misprint issue?

The video review in this thread says they only had this "half moon" line on the $10 chips but you have it on your $20.

Any insight on this?

There is a shadow and a highlight, to create a faux recess, since the entire face of the chip is actually flat. The shadow is on the upper left and the highlight on the lower right to create the illusion of a recess. Since the highlight is very light, it doesn’t show as much on the light background.

It’s even on the real chips! :ROFLMAO:

Oh ok so an intentional design choice. I have some real beallgio chips brought home from my first vegas trip and can see and feel the recess. The shadow/highlight on the real chips is a product of how the light interacts with the recess, so its not a permanent shadow on top and highlight on bottom, it will change as you move the chip around in the light. Adding a faux recess into the print is certainly not the choice I would have made if I were designing this chip, but its also not enough of a "problem" to prevent me from putting in an order this group buy either!

What I referenced in the video above is this shot, where it does appear the $10 chip had a "mistake" in the printing, where the "shadow" part of the design line was way too thick and dark. I didn't even notice the more subtle "shadow/highlight" on the regular labels until he pointed out this dark black line on his $10 chips:

Thanks again for the clarification!

I had to pick a light source from somewhere, as it needed one for the faux mold. Generally, light appears from above so it will look like it goes in instead of protruding out.
Even though it will appear different when you turn the chip, it was a trade-off…I think it’s better with it than without. The flatness of the no-mold needs a little something to give it more of a 3D effect.
