Why wouldn't it be?If someone opens to .3, 3 bet to $1.2 is fine right

Is .50 a limit?People will play the stakes they want to play regardless. Standard open when my group plays 0.05/0.10 is 0.50 usually.
Not at all, just the tendency of how my group plays. In no limit hold em, minimum raise would be to 0.20, but one can bet between that and their entire stack at any time.Is .50 a limit?
That’s a great idea!6-8 players for NLHE in my opinion. 6 if everyone likes playing cards. 8 is better for sitting around and chatting because hands will be a little slower and people will play fewer hands.
Blinds depends. 5c/10c to 25c/25c will all work at a $20 buy in, but with no re-buys I'd say 5c/10c is better as people (theoretically) should stay in longer. If you want to make sure no one is out too early but also keep $20 as the upper limit, I'd say play 5c/10c and encourage a $10 buy in with a $10 re-buy for players who bust.
I agree that 8 is the number. 10 is ok if you have a dedicated dealer to manage the game.I think it ultimately depends on the people, if you’re playing with a bunch of nits, any number is not going to be fun.
But if I had to choose, I think 8 players on a round table is perfect for NLHE!
Eight is the best, both ways. Nine is playable, Ten gets crowded. But obviously in a tournament, you need to learn to play shorthanded too. At least you hope you need to .Thinking the number might be different for cash vs tournament games
I would do 10c-20c or 10c-25c at the most. (or 25c-25c is an option if you want to forgo nickels/dimes)That’s what I’m thinking. With a $20 buy in you think .10/.20, .25/.50, or .25/.25 blinds? Maybe a 4 bet limit, or pot limit?
10 is tolerable only because it's less hassle than splitting the room into two tables of 5. (Though I think I would personally prefer a 5-handed game to a 10-handed one.) 11 is not tolerable and would force you to split into two games, one of 6 and one of 5.I will tell that 10 isn’t the right number
