I may have the largest collection of chips from the St. Maarten Isle Hotel & Casino, which opened in 1967 and closed/rebranded in the 70s after a relatively short run:

I have about 700 of the original 1s, 5s, 25s and 100s. (This doesn’t count about 150 “tribute” chips commissioned by another member from CPC to fill out the set, and 150 more I made myself).

The reason I think this may be the largest set is that I have looked high and low for more, and only found singles (rarely) for sale.

However, someone may have a secret hoard out there which is larger. The casino’s original order was 10,000 chips, and they got another 12,500 or so more later on, at one point charging the design.

So there in theory are a ton more of these out there, but it’s possible most got dumped in the trash. I’ve posted in some Saint Maarten social media sites in FB but not heard back from any collectors.
