You're offering $9 a chip and couldn't get a deal done. These are really more than $900 a rack? Wow! I must've missed the meeting on these chips by why are they so highly thought of and desired? No offense meant, of course, but to me they're just kinda meh. What am I missing?

I'm only stating what is already known from public information posted on this thread. I know nothing else. I'll stay out of it.

I was more genuinely curious why these particular chips are so sought after, which seems to be the case based on their apparent cost and unavailability. That's all.

Sadly, I don’t think the $9-$10 range will suffice at this point in the game and I say that with total empathy towards @MilouPilou1, not to thread cap or interfere with his search for them. The large majority of racks were sold behind the scenes for $1500-$1700. Unfortunately, that price point will likely stick for a while with that information coming out and until someone is feeling generous, they’re not going to be had for less than that.
 
Then these must be magical chips...because in the CT days these were on par with PCA fivers regarding price.
I know that for sure because I trade a rack one on one...and so did Pasi.

Again...I understand these being expensive chips, but not nosebleeds

Also that’s an insane price.

WTF? Really? Not too long ago these were going for $300 per rack steadily. I understand in todays crazy ass prices around here that these would go up but come on! That is ridiculous.

Agreed. I’ve never went after them myself but I was given a summary of their price point for the last year or so. It got “Bitcoined” and that changed in the last week alone lol
 
I barely understand what's going on here... I'm just looking for nice chips. It doesn't make any sense...

That price just doesn't make any sense....

Look on the Spinetti website what damage you could do with 1500-1700/rack budget....
Someone is going to get burned reaaaaally bad with those prices

2 3 upsides tho....

1. It would knock some sense in the prices of some NAGB chips...some of those are also at 10-ish per chip
2. Never gonna sell any leaded casino Paulsons without checking 'current market prices' but I think i'll just multipli times 3
3. the day Paulson would understand what a goldmine this forum could be....crazy chip prices are gone forever

I didn't mean to make your thread go sideways @MilouPilou1 , I just wanted to understand how these chips command a price like what you're offering. I think I understand, but not really. I wish you luck and hope you can find what your after at a reasonable price. Reasonable being subjective, of course.
