If the full collection is ever reassembled, a renewed Josh Kifer will spring forth from the clay like some sort of pagan sun deity but for gambling and bad decisions.

So @Josh Kifer is Voltron, but in chip form?

In order to have the clearer payment and shipping details for ads, having 'For Sale' ads in their own section is required.

It is very easy to view all ad types (For Sale, Wanted, Trade, and Auctions) on one page by using the Show All link. You can still filter the ads by type using the same sub-menu as before.

If only using the 'New Post' link/page, nothing has changed. All ad types will show no matter what forum or sub-forum they are in.

Also, significant behind-the-scenes work has been ongoing since late 2024 for upgrades to the Marketplace Classifieds and Auctions. This is for both Member to Member and Vendor/Supporter Plus to Member sales, services, and offers. No off the shelf 3rd party addon will come close to the features and options that are coming later this year. A very talented developer, whom I consider a good friend, and I are working together on this. So please be patient. Thanks!

Should 'show all' be the default when clicking classifieds over 'for sale' only? My main reason for thinking this is that sale threads already get the most attention, and hiding auctions/wanted/trade behind an extra click will leave them even more buried. My instinct is that clicking on 'classifieds' should show you everything that falls under that category, and then you could select a sub category if you only wanted to look at sales/wanted/etc. Otherwise I've been liking the changes, I don't think there's any reason to go back.

Auctions are not showing on "Forum" > "New Posts" when a bid/post is made.

Can we go back to the old forum where everything doesn't revolve around the classified???
I’m still relatively new to the forum, and as I browse through new posts on my laptop, I’ve noticed something interesting. The web browser currently shows 20 posts per page, and I couldn’t help but observe the following:

• On Page 1, 12 out of the 20 posts (threads) are focused on commerce or classified ads.

• On Page 2, 14 out of the 20 posts follow the same trend.

Given this, I don’t have much of a reference point for the forum being anything other than highly commerce-driven.

Just a perspective.

I didn't use the site often before the change but having the Wanted's in a separate forum seems counterproductive. How many people are going to click in there to see if people are looking for what they have? It's mostly people just endlessly bumping posts that no one else is seeing.

I combined sales and trade ad on my Harrah’s NOLA sales ad yesterday, had a few people message me although my main goal was to trade. Got more viewers that way.
