To be honest I didn’t even notice the change. But change is inevitable so get used to it!

yea, I know a lot of proponents for this change say it's "just one extra click" but anyone in user experience design knows that one extra click can have drastic fall off in accessibility and visibility @Tommy
rebumping here as to not derail Chris' wanted ad

a very simple example of this is why do people even bump their ads? it's to get to the first page. Because there is a fall off of viewership on the second and subsequent pages. Even though it's just one extra click...

The top page with the most hits is the New Posts page where all Ad types show.

To add to this...having them in a sub-forum under the Classifieds also give the user more control in regard to how they receive notifications.

You now have the option to watch each forum (For Sale, Trade, and Wanted) individually and be notified how you like when there is just a new ad thread or any new message (including a new thread).

Some tips for everyone...

The watch forum button can be found at the top right of the forum thread list.

Here are quick links also...

I would also check your filters on the New Posts page. You can control what you see on this page.

Wanted and Trade ads were nearly useless before, but now that they are removed from the general Classifieds, they are completely useless. If the problem is too much spam, then limit the bumps to weekly vs. daily.

Make the Classifieds Great Again! (add auctions back too while we're at it :ninja:)

The negativity seems very unfair and unwarranted. The hobby should be fun and enjoyable. The uproar over 1 extra click suggests we have no faith in humans learning how to do things slightly different. Please have some patience. A lot of time and effort is going into making improvements to the marketplace with more functional options and convenience for both the buyers and seller. We are in a transitional period.
