Django is one of my favorite movies so making a set based on the Django universe was something I had been noodling on for a while.

I'm not a designer but I forced myself to create the inlay myself - I'm moderately happy with my first design work, hah. The inlay is using the real building used for the plantation in the movie. I put a slight yellow to the background color to give it some vintage feel.

The $10 is a nod to my favorite chip (my avatar). The $1 is a spin on Saloon No. 10 Deadwood $1 with 4 spots instead of 3 and tweak colors.

I decided my wallet doesn't need to suffer and instead this was just a thought exercise. I would order this like 200/300/100 if ordering for real - I wanted unique denoms for this set.

You need that big tooth that was on the wagon for one of the inlays. Mucho badass!!!!
Haha totally if I was going that direction.

The idea here was that the plantation had a gaming parlour and these are those chips. In that world it wouldn’t make sense for the Django characters to be on the chip.

Hell yeah, great job. Love the inlays. Colors feel right/vintage, and theme actually fits with HHR.

Curious on your thoughts for denom breakdown, just not used to seeing 10x between denoms! Assume works fine.

Personally I'd likely flip to a quarter pie 10c, but I'm a quarter pie fanboy and can be rightfully ignored. Ha. The solid looks great as is.

Great work!

This set idea has been captivating. Had a few supporting ideas over coffee this morning and wanted to share

In Django’s first bounty, Schultz lays out his wallet, which is a long flat style. Possible cash holder wallet to accompany the chips? @Broski specializes in this sort of thing.

Another idea: a custom chip box for this would be incredible. Perhaps a miniature carriage? Sounds expensive though.

And, Django’s belt buckle could be a creative dealer button

Would love to see this move forward. Could be one of the greats.
