Cards Poker Size or Bridge Sized? (1 Viewer)

been using copags for a few years now and recently switched over to kems. love them both

Here in the US a Copag setup (2 deck) can be as low as $15 on eBay or amazon and they last at least a couple years for us (1 monthly game + a couple other game).
Oops realize you said KEM, yes definitely a little bit more, but I have not had bending problem with either the copag or KEMs.

I prefer Bridge size, large index. The smaller cards are easier to shuffle for most people, and if you end up being the dealer, it's usually easier for a lot of shuffling and dealing to use bridge size. There are exceptions -- all personal preference.

I personally prefer the look of the poker size cards, especially large index version. But we use a dealer in our game and majority of them prefer bridge size for easier handling (most are female), hence we have completely switched to bridge size large index decks.

As for my liking, KEMs feel better in hand. I also started to like Modiano, Italy! Lovely cards, great quality.

I prefer the feel of Kem over anything else like many people as well but I have a hard time buying them anymore since 2 of three of my setups warped...both pre and post USPC.

I did try Cartamundi Casino Acetates and the feel is almost identical to Kems. When they began to develope a slight bow I figured this is what you get with any acetate card. However, someone on these forums suggested storing a chip on top of the card to keep they flat. I did this with the Cartamundi acetates and they actually returned to totally flat! The Kems didn't .

Bridge size jumbo index for me.

And score this deal on Gemaco Superflex while it's hot.

You can thank me later.

I did score those this past summer but made sure I had a big enough order to justify Kardwells obscene shipping charge.

They are nice and identical to the actual Superflex branded Gemacos except they don't use the dark red security ink.

Scored some Superflex Bridge Jumbos and Poker Jumbos off Amazon recently...

Definitely prefer the Bridge Jumbos.
