I feel I have to say, I really am not impressed with the mold (faux mold?), so this was a nonstarter for me. I thought "how good can they look in the end anyway?". Well I think you have answered that question rather emphatically.

I will now go and read all the threads about this and consider a plan to pounce on the next opportunity. Congratulations on a truly impressive set.

I am generally a THC Paulson guy, but these were a dirt cheap opportunity for 100% custom chips and the chance to flex the creative muscles. I am pleasantly surprised and they are better in every way than expected. They sound great, texture is fantastic, stack exceptionally well, matte finish looks great, colors are great, feel great in the hand, and I even like the design of the mold. My sole criticism of these chips is the implications of a mold on a ceramic chip. The problem is the surface of the mold indentation is smooth and Also the printing is different in there and it all reflects light differently. I am not a fan of that effect. None the less I am definitely ordering more sets. There are also different molds and no molds as well.
