Catch non-attentive players up on previous action, or keep it casino rules? (1 Viewer)

What do you guys do at your home games?

This isn't the first time, just the most recent; had a player at my last game ask to be caught up on previous action because he wasn't paying attention...twice. "Hey, on the last street, did so-and-so raise or just call?".

Personally, this grinds my gears. I don't think anyone at the table should be telling this guy shit. If you can't pay attention, you don't deserve to know details like this.

AITA?
Whatever. I don’t know how many times I’ve been at a meetup, and four hands and two streets into an orbit someone asks “what game are we playing?”

My willingness to help an inattentive player catch up on the action decreases exponentially with the number of times that player has to ask to be caught up on the action—or reminded to post blinds/antes, or reminded it's his turn, or reminded of the rules of the same game he has played many times, or reminded he's supposed to be dealing from the deck he hasn't even begun shuffling yet.
