This buy might get up again based on the growing interest, and if the missing samples make their rounds.

You can go solo, but you just pay a little more. I ordered by myself - samples printed, design tweaked, full print done + reprint minor errors, boxed up and on a plane all in about 2 weeks

Seriously contemplating this route rather than custom set locally via Jack's. Any pointers on how to get in contact, get started, pricing etc?
Would be interested in customising a set and maybe also getting the Aria tributes if that's something they sell direct also

Ahoy @chkyrslf I ended up finding them on Alibaba and starting a conversation on shipping price etc. Thinking of getting a set of the Aria tributes (having got the ok from PCF designer) as well as customising my own set. Maybe throw in some plaques as well, why not. And that will be my first mid-range set, unless we count the Veneratis

It comes out to about AUD 68c/chip. I bought 1500 39mm, and 100 43mm, so the 43mm would skew the price a little.

I think the 39mm were USD 35c/chip and the 43mm were USD 40c /chip.

And then that is with custom artwork (not just the standard Arias, all my spots, colours, inlays etc.) and express international shipping on a plane and here within a week. So would've been slightly less without custom artwork like USD 32c /chip inline with Phantom's original post, and then if cost is a concern you'd do the slow boat option in a group buy and get the shipping cost way down (I paid USD $225 I think).

Love them, they're amazing! They feel great for a ceramic chip, and the graphics and colours are stunning, especially for the price!

Also just sharing recent quote from Tina. "if you order 1000pcs ,unit price 0.32*1000= usd 320, shipping usd 198, total cost usd 518" So about $700 AUD for 1000 set.

Many of you fellow Aussies looked at custom sets from Jacks, PokerShop, etc? I'm hesitant to go custom until i've heard a bit more about them.

nope. nope and more nope.

jacks uses sunfly ceramics from sunfly. the asconas are from sunfly. you can order directly from sunfly provided you have your own design.

otherwise you can choose a vendor like tina or anita from alibaba for plain ceramics or cards mold as its known around here.

if all that sounds too difficult or daunting and you prefer the ease of use from dealing with jacks then go with jacks
