Good news is I held on to my original 1977-1984 Star Wars figs (they are complete in good shape, i did not play with them much) long enough that the best 3 or 4 of them are worth enough to buy my chips in this group buy.

months, expect 3 - if we are lucky, these get made before the Chinese New Year starts.
We are getting cheap chips of decent quality, those are the positives.
The downside is we will not get them quickly, and in China our artwork is basically public domain.

The art is on alibaba. If somebody sees that and wants these chips, they can order them, and they will be made.
You can ask the company not to do that, but they charge extra for that privelege.
Somebody will chime in if I'm wrong.

China considers anything it gets it's hands on (by whatever means) public property.

They don't call it "communism" for nuthin'. & they take it quite literally.

You may think you paid for the privilege, but if someone wants to buy some (possibly willing to "pay for that privilege") I'll give you odds on how that would turn out.

Moral of the story.... don't trust China as far as you can throw it with anything you want kept private. & in case you hadn't noticed, its a heavy-*ss country.
