I designed my own labels for the 8V's I got. 2 minor mistakes: 1) I left too much black around the edge, so everything could have been 10% bigger, and 2) the black with white outline denoms looked good on the computer, but are hard to read. I should have just gone with all-white denoms.

My other regret is that I waited too long to make my purchase, and didn't get any reds. Then I would have gone with pink nickels, blue quarters, gray 1's and red 5's. I still really like my Cali colors though, and I'm really happy with these chips!

This thread should be required reading for any chipper intending to build his/her first custom set.

Will have pics later when I’m home but I used canary on my first customs... which is ok on the face; however, the brass flakes really show on the edges to the point where they look dingy.

Every now and then I consider having them remade with dg yellow. Arc yellow would work too.
