This is my first post. I've never played poker and don't really know why but I found this after watching Chris Manzoni's videos and can't stop looking at poker chips now.

I had no idea why the Aurora Star chips wouldn't be made if there was a demand for them, but the Empress Star chips look so similar and I feel compelled to get some in case this is my only chance. Am I crazy? Or is there a decent chance these will be available/around for purchase in the future.

Welcome to PCF.
The original Aurora and Empress Star chips were Paulsons, and were obtained from Paulson (GPI) when they were only making chips for casinos.

These new ones are ceramic hybrids, and are fantastic...but are very different from Paulson clays. Try to get some samples if you can so you can test them out.

We can do it but all the labels would be round like the $1 and be the same on both sides

I am having the exact same experience as you. Chris Manzoni -> Aurora Star -> PCF -> Empress Star. Chris Manzoni must be the gateway drug to a dangerous addiction.

There are Aurora Star tournament copies available on the textured no mold and cards mold blanks. For the new greek mold, and the web mold the Starnite set is based on the AS tournaments set as well. I haven't seen art for copies of the AS cash chips, though.

I am thinking that if I buy anything and the game (cash or tournament) draws more people, say there are 3 or 4 tables, I'd hate to spend $1000 on chips and be short, then be stuck in a scenario where I potentially wouldn't be able to buy extra racks in case they aren't being made anymore (i.e., Aurora Star).

Still have not yet played poker.

We will have to have adjusted art so there will be an additional art fee. You are looking at $143.50 for textured no molds
