Haven't seen much on The Poker Store branded plastic playing cards - Classic, so here is a review.
I've written about it a few times on this forum of my recent quality issues with Copag. I've used Copag all my poker playing life, dating back over 20 years ago, but recent I've noticed major creasing issues with just minimal play, while other decks have laster a couple years (same group of players).
I received a promo email from The Poker Store for their brand of plastic cards, Classic, for a dozen sets (24 total decks) for $110. I decided to order the dozen.
Packaging - Not as nice as Copag, but not bad. Each set (2 decks) comes in individual card boxes wrapped in plastic, and these two decks are in a black cardboard box. Not the plastic style like Copag, but nice for the price.
Look/Appearance - Nothing spectacular. Simple playing cards. One nice addition is that each deck comes with a The Poker Store cut card. Not a bad touch.
Feel - To me, they have a rougher texture compared to Copag, and feel slight thicker. They also aren't as flexible as Copag (likely due to them being a little thicker). They shuffle, personally, easier than Copag, and glide on felt the same
ShuffleTech - I have only ran them about a dozen times through my ShuffleTech, and though I had no jam, the seemed to shuffle slower (maybe just in my mind). I'll report back after I play all day Saturday
Conclusion - If you tend to go through decks of cards more frequently, or want to change something up, for the price, these are a great deal (haha). I wasn't expecting much but I am pleasantly surprised.
