One last post before bed. I spoke to the member that ordered the Pepper St chips which was a solid tourney set. He went with the dg Saturn and said the texture is the same as the other chips in the set. I am not sure why the sample chip appears like a plastic chip to some. The sample I saw it did not so I am curious to see the sample this weekend. Maybe @David Spragg can elaborate. The other member did say it was the brightest. Just one more thing to think about.
In less than 48 hours I will be with some great chippers and also at least one other in the GB. We will look at the yellows one last time and let everyone know what works best with the set in our opinion.

Like I mentioned in our super private and important and very secretive PM convo, I trust you to pick that sweet yellow color for me. I don't have samples (yet) although I did order a set of CPC colors and molds over the weekend.

Ok, as requested I asked @David Spragg how long an order like this would take to produce. He replied that an order of this size will require a lot of clay to be mixed and left to set prior to production. The A-Mold is one of the molds that is always in production but there are orders ahead of us. A guesstimate would be right at 3 months from the time the order is placed and paid for. This would put us at mid November fro me to get them, repackage them and reship them to all of their new owners!

I have also been asked to possibly leave this open until August 15th. I originally was going to close this by August 7th at 11:59 pm CT and have all monies in by August 8th. What say you?

Also I am looking at doing away with the T25000 chip since there has been no interest at all. We are going to get a T5 in production since we did have one person order enough. If I do not see at least 200 T25000 by the end of this week we will not take it in to production. Once the decision is made on the T25000 I will send out the totals to all of the sample set purchasers.

I have two sample set one on the A mold from what I assume are leftovers from Vegas ASM and he who shall not be named (I bought them about 4 months after CPC opened back up so this is an assumption), and a scroll mold inlaid sample. The older sample is definitely worse looking than the new one, Again I am assuming here but I am going with some faulty mix or curing process from the Vegas days rather than the mold. Long story short here is if there are several samples available at the meat up I would suggest getting all of the Saturn samples side by side if possible.

Again not rocking the boat here because I will go with whatever the group is good with, and both of the DG yellows are great colors. I know many members do not have samples of these colors, and just want everyone to as informed as possible. This set is going to be so sweet!

also after having purchased both an inlaid and not inlaid sample sets, I highly recommend springing for the inlaid sample set. It makes life so much easier, and you can see the chips with and inlay on them too. I spent three or four hours trying to match my non inlaid set up with spots and bases on member sample sets and still had a few I couldn't figure out what they were.

Alright, I'll get the ball rolling on the 25k. I'd buy 30-45 if it's retro lavender or blurple. I might never need them, but I'm not going to let that stop me from buying more chips. Join me in the race to 200 and help us spend more money together.

Not a bad challenge. Since you were the first to call it out that would be your color choice. I would say the Retro Lavender over the Blurple only because the Blurple might be too dark for those using the Black chip but I could be wrong!

Ok so Let's say either of the two colors thrown out. Can we get to 200? Basically you get a barrel for under $25!

@Ghoti I will add to your order but hold off on the payment until we see if we can get to the magic number!

Post #2 updated to include the most recent purchasers.

Also with the sample sets and @Ghoti 45 T25000 chip addition. For the challenge we are up to 54 T25000. We need 146 more or just a bit over 7 barrels to get to the magic number.

@Ghoti if we get to the number or over the number you can choose to stay at 45 or do only 30.

I may want to get a barrel of T25000 but then I go over my 600 chip count which is perfect for a single box! If I'm going to do that I might as well get 105 T5s while I'm at it.

What to do!?

Great looking chips! I'm not 100% yet, but I will likely put together an order for a 400 or 500 chip set, which would include probably 10 to 40 of the 25k chips (whatever color they are), if those get up to the minimum order.

Considering I just discovered this thread for the first time today, about an hour ago, I'd vote to leave it open for another week, to attract more potential buyers like me (and get that 25k chip made!).

If @AWenger is in for 10 -40 and @jemfernandez is in for 20 this brings the total of T25000 chips to 104 on the low side and 134 on the high side. Almost there!

What is the "bwalk group buy"?

Has the end date been determined yet? (orders will also depend on 25k chip?)

Hope the meet up is going well. Let us know how the colors look, I trust your collective opinions.

Any more orders for the 25k chip? If we can get 104 more, I'll place my order with 40 of the 25k chips, so we're over the 200 threshold. Just FYI, the WSOP increased the Main Event starting stacks to 50,000 this year. Moar chips! So if anyone wants to run a tourney with the same exact breakdown as the Main Event, you should order some 25ks for color up/rebuys!
