I've never asked but i'm sure they don't want roulette chips walking away from the table...so do you buy in for .25's and walk with a couple....come back later and do the same? Takes a lot of effort to collect a set

Very difficult to do because the value of the chip can change from table to table so they watch them carefully. There was a scam that a crew ran where they used them on two different tables but don't feel like searching.

There is a small group of people that harvest roulettes, it takes a lot of time to get full sets colors/tables# from each casino. You may want to check/ask over at http://www.thechipboard.com/ for more info about it

Casinos guard their roulette chips more carefully. The chip value changes with each buy-in. They don't want you to buy-in for .25c, walk away with 5-10 chips then come back tomorrow and buy-in the same color for $25.

Exactly....
I have 4 different sets from hard rock
Can't imagine how long that took
