Anyone have a color map of the CPC Rounders chips? I am specifically trying to determine the yellow in the edge spots of the $5 chip. Is it Dayglow Yellow, Dayglow Saturn, or possibly Canary? Thanks!

I’d recommend getting a color sample to see plain chips in real life. I had the rounders sample before I got a full color sample and they look night and day different. For example, it’s hard to tell what dayglo yellow looks like just from the rounders $5 on the spots vs using it as a base color. Rounders colors tend to look dull and muddy to me and I almost didn’t pursue building a custom set until I started to see other chips in real life. Not sure if it’s the color combos or inlay…

My dayglo yellow for reference in how different it looks from the spots on rounders:

How do the home rounders chip sets compare to the Paulson tpc set? I’ve always thought about getting a set. I know samples are available but just wanted an opinion from those that know the difference.

CPC chips are different than Paulsons. Similar production process as both are compression clay, but different techniques (temperature, pressure, black magic).

Only one way to tell which you like better is to get samples.

How old is your Rounders sample? I have a Rounders sample that I ordered 3 years ago from CPC and the DG colours very closely match a colour sample ordered back in 2017. I don't know exactly when, but CPC improved their Dayglo colours around 10 years ago. I almost didn't purchase a custom set also, because the first colour sample I bought in 2016 had very drab DG colours.

Maybe 2 years ago but they just don’t pop on the rounders set due to color/spot combinations and inlay, in my opinion.

Would the edge spot on the 1000 be dark blue and the base of the 25c be blue? To me, there is a very small difference but it’s hard to tell
