Yep. I designed these. I called them my "2025 prototype," and then my wife saw them, and @RainmanTrail saw them, and @ngmcs8203 saw them, and I couldn't stop myself from placing the order for them. I wasn't supposed to drop another design this year... but I couldn't help it.
And a friend wanted a custom set.... that excuse pushed me over the edge to place the order... so I ordered these with her city listed at the bottom.

Which direction for the gradient do you have in mind? Around the circumference of the chip or from the inlay towards the edge of the chip?
Around the circumference. I suppose it would be best done as a hybrid.
