Name is ok, but a black $1 chip and a $100 white chip aren't my favorite choices. Can we make the 25 cent green and the $1 blue, $100 black?View attachment 59758 My favorite so far. Incorporated the "A" in the mold and the fact that there's four of them. Also, four aces is a pretty good hand I guess. I personally like the "social club" thing. Sounds like the kind of place where guys like "us" would hang out. You know, some real "good fellas".(see Scorsese) Not sure if it's blasphemy to have a black $1 chip or not. I've always thought it would be a good idea. Hotstamps on black chips seem to pop and since I believe most of us play 25/50 to $1/$2 games, it'll be the most used chip and I believe black will hold up the best. Correct me if I'm wrong. I'm going to bed now....

" Damn .. We Should Have Bought Large Index!"
I feel like we should decide on the name and layout of the stamp first so we can get it redone by a person who actually has an idea what they're doing. (J5 type person) then we can figure out the chip colors.Name is ok, but a black $1 chip and a $100 white chip aren't my favorite choices. Can we make the 25 cent green and the $1 blue, $100 black?
I have no idea about different color stamps. Doesn't sound that great to me. Can you post some pictures of a set with different color stamps? Would be helpful. What about different color hot stamping on each chip? Silver on black or white, green on green, red on red, gold on yellow, blue on blue?
As far as a name goes I'm ok with creating some poll and let it sit there for a week or two and see what people like, is that possible?I feel like we should decide on the name and layout of the stamp first so we can get it redone by a person who actually has an idea what they're doing. ThisTo all, Not trying to get too much in the design of this since I am undecided on purchasing another cash set but I would like to chime in on this thread. Having gone through this process recently I would recommend that you work on names for the set first. Once you all can get to a short list then you can start a poll for the name. Once the name has been chosen then take the discussion offline via PM and only include the persons that have firmly committed to purchasing chips. This will get you to a completed project much faster than letting everyone give feedback throughout the process. Much of the feedback is good feedback but the people that have committed should have the loudest voice. Just my 2 cents!
I am still committed to helping Bill but will take on more of a facilitator's role for this GB unless I ultimately decide on purchase.

And this..Agree completely on pulling J5 in to do the design. A good hotstamp design is the balance between graphics, font and font weight and size, and denominations. They don't have to be centered. They can be offset, etc.
As I mentioned before I think you'll find that your original chip colors are a really good start - it feels like you're going backwards a bit on that. A white chip will give you the chance to use a colored foil like a brilliant red or blue. Canary could use a colored foil as well.
Bill thats a nice picture of you three grandchildren!!!
You could also add Honest Abe'sOk, so my suggestions are:
Aloha Social Club
Alcatraz Poker Room
The Aristocrat Social Club
Abraham Lincoln's Poker Room
Alley Cat Social Club
Anarchy Club.
The first rule of Anarchy Club is,
There are no rules in Anarchy Club.
The second rule of Anarchy Club is,
Always break the rules.
Except for rule #1.
The 'A' stands for 'Club'.It could be the four roses talking. I fucking love this
