Have a color sample set coming from CPC, but working in my first custom set design for a new cash set .25,1,5,20,100 for the breakdown. Without looking at the color samples in person yet, I keep coming back to this mock set for now. Had some questions of if anything clashes or dirty stack risk (maybe 1 and 20.?) or could use some tweaking. Also don’t know if mixing weighted and unweighted colors on the same chip is an issue or not..? Haven’t gotten to the inlay design yet. Figured one thing at a time. Looking to get either 800 or 1000 total when it’s all said and done. Input from some more experienced chip designers and CPC veterans would be appreciated! Thanks

Some players will subconsciously mistake your green $20 for a $25. Change it to lavender, or another purple, or black if you prefer 20s over 25s.

What stakes do you plan to play? I only ask because you also have a $100 chip. 20s are great for micro stakes. But for larger stakes, most people prefer using a $25 chip.

I don't think you're going to have a dirty stack issue between a light blue and a light green chip. But if you're truly concerned then use quarter inch spots instead of 1/8-in spots on the green chip. You'll also save a little money as those 1/8 inch spots get pricey really fast.

I don’t have any issue just changing it to a $25 chip all together tbf. Just was thinking for ease of cashing out but not a huge deal. I have two regular games going one is a smaller game .25/.50 $100 buyin usually only get 2-10 or so 20/25 chips on for that one but then we play a 1/3 300 buyin with another crew where we do occasionally get the hundo’s in play on a bigger night. Right now I’m playing with Apache Empire but been saving for the upgrade.

With these scenarios, and wanting the chips to stay green, I would go with $25s. It's what most people who play a lot are used to, especially those who also play in casinos and cardrooms.

If you don't have a color sample set yet, do get one. They absolutely look different in person as compared to the design tool. I'm not a big fan of light green, although I know others use it. I prefer DG Green and regular Green. As @allforcharity said, no major problem mixing DG and non DG base colors. It's highly unlikely you will be able to tell the weight difference just holding the chips. Some of them might be as little as 0.2g difference. I know this because I weighed each individual chip in my color sample. (nerd!)

Good luck!
