So, does this mean that the chip set that someone piggybacked on is gonna be produced prior to my set? I seriously hope that's not the case.

By the way - these turned out AWESOME! Colors are spot on!

20 years from now, a bunch of newbie chippers are gonna be asking among themselves:

"Anybody know the story behind the sudden influx of really cool ceramic chips that appeared in 2020?" "Wasn't that the year of the china covid crisis" "Yeah, I think so - wonder if they're related?" "Are they real casino chips? Maybe a bunch closed during the plague." "Dunno, I couldn't find any history about them on the web sites of any ceramic manufacturers during that era." "What's scrub donkey mean?" "No idea, but these chips are really nice. And only $10 each!" "Yeah, I think most Paulsons are overpriced at $50 per chip."

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

We are living history right now folks.

That's probably not too far off from what may happen.

15 years ago we had TRK, BCC, and loads of fantasy and semi-custom options from Paulson. An embarrassment of riches compared to today.

I guess compression clay manufacturing vs ceramic chip printing has a huge difference in capital investment costs but these cheap Chinese manufacturers may disappear.

Bottom line: buy buy buy. Buy now, think later or have many many regrets.
