Hi All
sorry, no pron.
Hoping once some Canadians on this buy recieve their chips, they can shoot me a PM. I'm running a similar (but way smaller) buy and I'm wondering how many of this chips can be safely packed in an international (US to CAN) flat rate box. Both the medium and large are 20lb max, and right now my order is floating around 850-900. I've read a lot about shipping in the forum, but couldnt find an answer to this specific question. thanks

USPS MFRB is the way to go, it should be able to fit 900 of them. MFRB can fit 1200 chips the only limitation is 20lbs in weight which I don't believe these ceramics will trigger.

There was a mostly Canadians buy where you wouldn't have to worry about shipping across the border. Did you miss out on that one? Has it closed?

900 chips are going to get REAL close. My Cards mold chips are averaging 9.7 g. 8.73 kilos for 900 which comes in at 19.25 lbs. for just the chips. Add the box and packing material and you'll be very close.

I thought the same thing but I believe a few people on here recrunched the numbers again and proved me wrong.

Someone else remember this?

You can do the math that makes you comfortable but personally I would feel safe with 850chips

If the empty box and packing material = 280 g, then you are good to go with 900 cards mold chips. I actually get 19.99 lbs with 906 chips. Just saying you are getting so close, you would want to weigh the label, any tape you're going to use on the box, any dust that might fall onto the box on the way to the post office... :D

Also don't know how picky they are about the 20 pound limit. They may have a small allowable variance. Like what are they going to do if it's 20 pounds and 1 ounce? Send it back? confiscate it?

They’d send it back or make the receiver pay any penalties. Don’t know their allowable variance but would stink to have either happen. Given the current delays they could toss send back items to the bottom of the shipping list too.

If you paid via PayPal for your shipping, they would just make you pay the difference before you can ship anything again. It happened to me twice.
