Since PDF format does not operate in layers and are not editable, is there any specific parameters for sending in artwork as a PDF?Yes, the pdf files will also work
Good questions. Hopefully the OP can elaborate.Since PDF format does not operate in layers and are not editable, is there any specific parameters for sending in artwork as a PDF?
Is the file the exact cut card dimensions? Or, should the artwork go a little bigger to allow for bleed, etc? What about resolution? Any other tips/suggestions?
The grey area in these images are the dimensions of the card. I would go over by 1/8th of an inch just incase. When your proof is complete you will see exactly how your card will look before printing. Without the bleed area you run the risk of having white along the edges of you cards.Since PDF format does not operate in layers and are not editable, is there any specific parameters for sending in artwork as a PDF?

So I’m assuming artwork with dimensions greater than the actual card (1/8 in larger) will be centered up. I think I got it.The grey area in these images are the dimensions of the card.
