I am planning to FINALLY get some longterm storage for 1500 Paulsons. I would prefer to keep them in the 24010 racks in the case. Additionally, to make things a bit more complicated, I have one rack of 48mm.

1) Is the 1650 a reasonable size for this? I assume the 1510 would be a bit tight.

2) Does anyone have any recommendations for custom foam? Or possibly a template that would work with this setup?

I have seen lots of posts about custom cases, but I can't seem to find the perfect option for this many chips. Sorry if this has already been discussed somewhere.

Not familiar with the pelican cases as a lot of us around here use Apache cases from Harbor freight. They’re super sturdy and come at a much better price point. I have an Apache 3800 case that houses my Jack Cincinnati 1000 chip tournament set. At 1000 chips the case is maxed out and has no additional space for dealer buttons and decks of cards, but the 4800 seemed a little too bulky for me.

Custom foam is unnecessary as either case comes with pick and pull foam which you can customize yourself. I would look into “Tina racks“ to put your chips in. With both a top and bottom they will keep your chips a lot more secure.

Actually…Why don’t I just direct you to our resident expert @Ben8257
