This is honestly what I’m thinking about the most. It would be lovely to have for the whole tournament but the head to head can just be so painful at the end.I have dealt tournaments and when you get down to 3 handed... and especially heads-up... shuffling every 30 seconds is a pain in the ass.
Good thing the DeckMate shuffles in 30 seconds.

I know where you can get one.Doesn’t mean I don’t want a DM1. Dying to have one.
Still pondering. Is it unheard to not put this in a table?
A small cabinet on wheels is a great place, can be wheeled up behind/beside dealer, and, rolled out of sight when not in use.
@jamesjkimYep. It has been done with the ShuffleTech... https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/shuffle-tech-cart-build.15698/
Would be pretty sweet with a Deckmate.
Did you ever cut holes to vent it out?
No more than the 1.5 hole for the power cord. I haven't noticed the unit getting unusually hot or performing poorly.Did you ever cut holes to vent it out?
Where we live helps a lot probably. No more than the 1.5 hole for the power cord. I haven't noticed the unit getting unusually hot or performing poorly.

The deckmate is already very quiet so can’t really notice tbh.Does it dampen a lot of the shuffling sounds?
I’ve actually seen this thread before and thought about that.Yep. It has been done with the ShuffleTech... https://www.pokerchipforum.com/threads/shuffle-tech-cart-build.15698/

There are multiple speed settings on the deckmate. I have mine set in the middle and it’s about a 45 second shuffle. Sometime during 3 handed play I am still waiting on the shuffler if it’s a quick round. For what it’s worth I haven’t been able to get my DM1 to hit a 30 second shuffleI have dealt tournaments and when you get down to 3 handed... and especially heads-up... shuffling every 30 seconds is a pain in the ass.

DM1 to hit a 30 second shuffle
"Jesse, don't do it. It is likely that he's got more than 100 grand under the hood of that car."Sorry, my iDeal shuffler can do about 30 seconds (with some cheats). That's where I got the number from.

I love my Ideal its a freak of nature. If the size wasnt so huge I'd use it for poker. In Texas holdem.... you only use like 1/3 of the deck. So the iDeal shuffler picks out random cards from the 52 card deck, and puts them in the 2-card hands, and doesn't bother shuffling the rest (just puts them in discard piles). That's the cheat. Still random and pretty fast.
I think the back of the manual has maintenance timeline "guides" but that's based on casino usage. Really just wipe the rollers with isopropyl. So whats the maintenance on one of these look like. I’ve been doing more reading and a lot of information is from the stand point of card rooms and casinos etc where they are in constant use and have a lot of service done. Also a lot of mention of techs coming in from the actual company regularly, but again that’s from the perspective of heavy heavy use.
How much maintenance would I be looking at realistically using it at most a few times a month for a tournament with friends?
Know anyone who wants a Pappy 20?@RocAFella1 if you buy this for me I'll convert to those tiny cards you like to play with lol
Almost worth it huh?
Do you have a link for the cart? I’ve been looking for something like this for a while with no luck
it might be worth it. u will enjoy itDo you have a link for the cart? I’ve been looking for something like this for a while with no luck
Also, someone please help me justify the $4500 for our monthly game!
would you "seal" the top... some sound foam or weather stripping? The deckmate is already very quiet so can’t really notice tbh.
My shuffletech on the other hand has the same setup and there’s a more noticeable difference although most of the sound escapes from the top door.
Sending pm to not derail further.Do you have a link for the cart? I’ve been looking for something like this for a while with no luck

This is super helpful thank you.I purchased the first shuffle tech version one when it was first released. The problem that I had with the shuffle tech was the noise and a jam frequently. I sold the unit.
Shuffle tech than release version 2. they improve the noise and the jam. I have played with a few PCF game that own The version 2. It seems to me they are happy with the unit.
I did purchase my first Deckmate through BBO Poker. It was in really bad condition. I need it tuneup. Didn’t know anyone until one of my PCF refer me to ”minedelta“. He serviced my unit and replaced the roller. My Deckmate 1 now run fallessly.
To compare shuffle Tech and Deckmate1. If you have the budget and the money to buy, I recommend Deckmate1. It is like buying China poker chip 13.5 ounce with metal insert and now you upgrade to Paulson chip.
I am looking forward to purchased one more DM1 in the near future. If you do decide to buy the DM1 don’t hesitateti buy from minedelta.
I wanna thank him personally for servicing my unit DM1.
Buy with confident from him. He has my vote!!!!!
Sorry for the long wording and my grammar.. Feeling like shit this morning and wanted to chin in.
