Having grown up in the "Invasion at any time" region, I can agree 100% with this.

Plus they didn't observe DST, so when I'd watch the Indianapolis channels on cable as a kid, everything was an hour off for half the year.

I would like to add that never changing your clocks at any time of year ever, is AWESOME. I was disappointed when the legislature made each county pick whether to observe EDT or CDT.

I'd love being on one time year-round.

Florida voted to go to year-round DST back in 2018. We're still waiting for federal approval.

Year round DST is fine, until you are waking up and going to work in the dark during the winter.... Year round standard time is the infinitely better option both for safety and health.

A lot of debate here in lower slower Delaware about putting the windmills offshore. Those opposed to the idea have taken to calling them “eagle shredders” which makes me chuckle when I see the term in local papers.
