Sous vide filet, in a black-pepper coffee rub, sweet onion pan sauce, turmeric sweet potatoes, steamed green beans. Bourbon barrel malbec.

You just cannot beat sous vide for a perfect steak.

Funny thing is, some of my best dishes never get photographed, so they don't appear here. Like a recent Thai-coconut milk shrimp, with ginger/star anise/nutmeg wonton strips.
