So.......what prompted my question. Although I must preface it by saying I'm new to chip collecting, I purchased (20) ES $20's thinking they were 43mm. Of course you can imagine my surprise when they arrived. LOL They are very nice chips! However, they're not what I'm looking for. So I was considering putting on a classifieds an even trade (20) ES $20's for (20) AS 43mm $20's. Is this an even trade or should I have to pay in addition to the trade or vice versa?

I think it is reasonable to start it as an even trade. It may be challenging however. You are essentially looking for someone who currently owns AS 20's that is looking for ES 20's. You may be better off selling the ES 20's and buying the AS 20's.

Sell and rebuy is probably the easiest option.

I'm thinking we tell them that we're opening a riverboat casino in the Ozarks, and that we'll need chips for that...

We could even show them the documentary footage that was filmed at the opening!

I thought season two was just as good as the first.

We know the fact that the AS Tournament are all 6D18. What are the colours, all of them?

Not positive on the T500 base, but I think the others are correct.

The base on the T500 is Orchid.

Colour questions:
1. Is Indian Blue close of being turquoise?
2. What is the difference of Orchid, Lilac, Petunia, Lavender, and HI Flower?

1. Is Indian Blue close of being turquoise?

IMO, no. It does have a bit of a Blue tint to it but it is still pretty green. The closest you'll get to a turquoise would be either Aqua (more to the Blue) or Sea Green (more to the Green).

2. What is the difference of Orchid, Lilac, Petunia, Lavender, and HI Flower?

HF is very, very light. Orchid is a brighter purple shade and Lavender is a few shades darker than Orchid. Petunia has the same brightness of Orchid but with more Blue to it.

Here's some pics. They do not capture exactly how the chips look like though, specially the three Greens. The purple ones are a bit close to what you'd see in real life.

I’d like to think this thread is the cause of the recent surge in ES/AS sales regardless of how likely it is. Good job everyone!

I think there are a great many members here that would disagree with you that they are similar in story to PCNY chips. Without rehashing arguments and referring to threads long since deleted, they are a great fantasy Paulson chip and they required a lot of background work to make the purchase occur (including editing Wikipedia pages and contacting GPI reps on another continent).

I almost wish there could be a sticky posted explaining these chips (and the drama that ensued) that was required for new members to read so these threads don't keep reviving every few weeks... however, I believe there would be more arguing about how that post would be written and what information was included.

Let's face it -- if you bring Paulson chips into the forum in a controversial manner, then you're stuck with answering the same questions about them to everyone who discovers them / sees them in the Classifieds.

(Now... let's discuss which team is the greatest: Boston Bruins, Chicago Bears, Michigan State Spartans, or the New York Mets?)

(Trick question: they're all great.)

That's easy....Michigan State Spartans.
